I quit WoW 6 months ago after reaching lv 70 with my tauren shaman (oh boy I love tauren, they are so funny and cute). The reason was just because I got bored with the gameplay, never ending reputation grind, raids, honor grind. Second reason shaman keep getting shafted , nerfed each patch XD (my personal rant)

I was an active raider, but u know Ive been in some raid where I almost asleep most the time (sleeping in front of my comp with my left hand on keyboard and right hand holding mouse >.>"), at first it always interesting trying to beat an instance but after 50+ times raiding the same place, yea it became boring at that point. But I must admit WoW is good ,not the best, but definitely not a bad mmorpg.

How did you get away with sleeping through raids? o.O Sleeping during fights like C'thun = insta-raid-wipe.

And don't you think 50+ times is a bit large of an exaggeration? That's a whole year worth of raiding =P
I mean, my guild had probably cleared BWL about that many times before the expansion, but those runs were going faster than PUG Scholo runs towards the end (1.5 - 2 hours), and were far from serious (trying to Corrupted Heal specific targets to death on Nef was a weekly occurrence... at least, when the stupid dragon cooperated and didn't do silly stuff like kitty-fying the druids).

I just started "Voyage Century" yesterday and i'm looking forward to it, especially since it's not your average type of MMORPG where u have to spend like 80% of the time hunting. If you are interested in pirates and/or a life at sea i suggest u give it a look http://vc.igg.com/index.php
Here's a couple of screens for u to enjoy

@Corallein: well yea usually I sleep during MC raid, because it's like we have been raiding MC for 6 month before even trying bwl. even after we finished bwl, and half aq, ppl in my guild still want to raid mc (only for that damned thunderfury, which I think overrated). and I play healer so during mc run set to follow other healer and it's fine 🙂

Get yer asses into Ro private servers or stuff, maybe even into those glitchy WoW privates. I am a RO addict, I am quite fed up with it but can not just stop. I've got Vista

i played RO on AncientRO for a long time untill some alchimest pked me and stole my armor. that just killed it for me. it was fully upgraded and had 2 boss cards in it.

We used to spice up mc/bwl with things like betting on who can blow up the most healers on geddon (i think that was the bomb one, i cant remember the names), snowballs in the suppression rooms, poker mods, etc. Still boring as hell after the 30-40th time (no exxageration ^^). But anything that mind controls in aq40 was always fun. Still a great game even though it was a huge timesink.

I played rappelz for a while and that is certainly a great game. What would you recommend to someone who liked rappelz for the style and graphics, but hated it for being ridiculously laggy in certain locations.

Looking at your list it seems to me like flyff and trickster are the most cute MMORPGs. Does that seem about right? If not, what are the most cute MMORPGs?

Raiding MC for Thunderfury should be done like this: straight run to Garr, chain pulling the entire time and dealing with doggie spawns as they pop, druid tank all of eight of Garr's adds (and Gary himself) and DPS Garr down first. That's how you make it interesting =P

It's even fun at the end, when a dog spawns while people are porting. It turns into a mad rush into who can run away first before becoming a doggie chew toy.

i play RO but im not into it completely. i play on a private server. it kinda depends on what you like though.. the one problem is the torrent download. unlike some ppl, it took me a while to get it but its worth the wait. Its good for keeping someone busy for a bit.

Don't need money to play online games. There are plenty out there that are free and I'm sure you can find one you like as different games offer different levels of enjoyment to different people.
I'm still playing "Tales of Pirates" and I'd say its pretty bad on the grinding side but still interesting cause there the whole training using a boat, shame the community seems to suck...

To any ROers out there who are willing to play on a new server, me and my school friends have been and are still trying to set up a server. Its still small and actually doesn't really have anyone on yet but were trying. Dunno if I should actually be advertising here but heres a link to the server if anyone cares: http://www.finalrag.co.nr/

I haven't noticed the mention of PristonTales. Its a pretty old korean MMORPG which in my opinion is the most fun. It really didn't offer much quest wise and was really just a hell lot of grinding but the community on it was a hell lot better than most MMORPG's these days.

I got accepted into the closed beta for Fiesta yesterday and played it a bit today. It seems like it's going to be a bit better than the average free mmorpg. It just went live yesterday and I've only taken one character (archer) up to level 5 so far so I don't really know too much but it definitely looks promising.

Graphically it looks very nice; it has a cel-shaded cartoony look to it. Some animation seems a little off or just not implemented yet but that's expected in a beta. In the most crowded areas I didn't experience any lag at all, but that could change since there's probably a pretty light load on the server at the moment.

At level 4 or so it seems like the flood-gates opened on general quests so I've got plenty to do. There is also some kind of kingdom quest adventure thing that I've not yet gotten into. I'm not sure what it's all about yet but from the looks of the chat box it has the feel of a group raid kind of thing.

There looks to be some crafting as well and that's pretty cool since it seems like most free mmorpgs are pure grindfests. The guild system and PvP looks like its going to be pretty kickass too from what I've read. For now though, I think only non PvP server(s) are up.

It's like others in that it's totally free to download and play, but the catch is there's a cash shop for extra cool crap. Hopefully the cash shop will be more for aesthetic and not balance breaking items so that free play leechers won't be trash on the side of the road compared to those that use the cash shop.
