Robbers, Stalkers Help
First off, you should count your enemies. If you have none, count those who could possible become enemies.
Second, form a list of motives as to why someone would want to break in, what they would want to steal, and how they could've possibly found out that you have these valuables.
Now that you have a list of motives, and possible enemies, it will help you be prepared. Carrying a knife is a good idea... sure it doesn't beat a gun, but it's better than being unarmed. Personally I carry a knife all the time, or I'll have one close by.
The easiest way to deter any hostility is through fear. Use the list that you devised about how someone could've possibly known about your things, and let it be known that your ready to kill anyone that crosses your threshold uninvited. Brag about your firepower, and about how your friends are ready to kill and be killed. Well... clearly you want to exaggerate, but don't make it too unbelievable.

I'd say bolt your windows and doors, add some more obstacles for good measure.
Take a good look around before you go out, make your outings as inconsistent as possible so they won't be able to time what hour of the day you'll be home/when you're not and I'd say, always have a self-defense/offense device with you at all times. Hell, I even recommend pepper-spray.
And if the police aren't do anything, keep complaining, they'd have to listen one day.
Do not, ever store any valuables in your house anywhere. Ever. Not even in any hiding places at your household. It should be in a safety deposit box or something of the like, far, far away where you can reclaim it after you make a getaway.

Okay, seriously, I must be crazy relying on the online community for something like this but I've gone desperate....The police and everyone else are incompetent...
Someone might be planning to attempt a break in...we believe it's the same two suspicious guys going around our different branches asking weird questions like how much money do we make or something five months ago (see why I call the police incompetent)
And last night, the delivery boy was being followed, he knew he was being followed and still went to our house to deliver the money...WTF!?
The two men asked a guard next door if it was "our" house and he actually pointed them in the right direction... 😔 Do they not consider it suspicious when two men come asking for who's house is where in the middle of the night standing exactly where there is no light?
Now they possibly know my dad's name, our house and our stores...any suggestions on how to deal with this?
how do you know all this 😕 ...but just get like a bat or something and keep it near your bed or what ever you are..and if you want time then self defense classes

So why don't they do anything? Can't the police arrest them for questioning or something?...

Because they are incompetent...and they have no proof since the two men haven't done anything yet...
We can't go and tell our guard or the employees to beat him up just cause he was acting suspicious...and they're usually gone long before the police arrive

smurfs are useless everywhere...but you sure about all your employees?
well dogs, big and loud dogs that can wake up all the neighborhood but that don't bark all the time so people get used to it...security system, changing all locks, reinforced doors (but that all costs money)...have lights in the house always, describe the men to your neighbors, maybe they've seen something (not really sure what good that will do)
having those 4 guns is also a good thing of course, guns beat knives...it's not easy to just stab someone (even from the shadows), but with the gun you can always shoot a warning shoot that might scare them and neighbors will hear it.
well this was useless 🤢

No I can't, especially since my cousin was the victim of an inside job a few years ago, the robber was apparently the security guards nephew...It was by chance that the police just happened to be there because they were doing some documents about a fire that happened a day before...

well i think that those guys wouldn't ask questions around so much if they have an insider...but still it's always possible...also maybe they're looking for one...

HUH!!!!
Just get the delivery boy to put the money on a bank account and then later give your mom the receipt... the dark ages are LONG gone
Is better to avoid the problems, so before rely on a gun it may be wise to set counter measures, better locks for the house, if you are both females at home alone for long periods of time it may be wise to call friends often (criminals don't like it when friends come to visit often) set an study group or a book group or whatever you can come up with.
Guns are USELESS and may cause more trouble than help if you are not willing to use them regardless of the consequences.
Also, even if you are middle class if the criminals think you are one of those idiots that keep all their money at home they will target you and later attack you, they probably have the delivery on their side or someone close to the delivery (someone that knows how much money he gives you)
In short, don't act like cavemen, give the order to the delivery (even if you have to give the order yourself, parents can be such idiots sometimes) as soon the only thing he brings home is a receipt the criminals won't bother to take a look at home.
Like I said, delivering the money home rarely happens...so I wouldn't count on them stalking the house and the shop for 5 months just because of that...I doubt they even knew what he was delivering and just tailed him because he was from our shop...

Like I said if you are both females, they could be after something else >_>
anyway like I said the BEST way to keep criminals away is by becoming a hard target, have lots of people visiting (I know is no easy tast, but should be do able) the more active your home is, less likely is an attack on their part.
Change locks and reinforce windows, etc
a Dog? USELESS for the first months and I am not sure you can handle a dog and I am talking about REAL dogs, not the rat size ones.
a gun is useless if you are not willing to shot to kill.
I'm a guy and this household is full of guys...5 brothers and a dad, the only females are my mom and grandma. As for dogs, I've got 5 fully grown rottweilers, a Labrador and a golden retriever that we raised ourselves since they were puppies.
My dad's in the force and our security guard is ex-military. Not to mention that 3 of my trigger happy uncles and their families live in the same block
With this I don't get why they singled out my family's business and household. Money? A rich doctor that owns a hotel lives just next door. Grudge? Highly unlikely. My dad doesn't actually do any police work, most of it is panic management on events like elections or such...

Don't put the dogs in danger... If they do have criminal intents who knows what they might do to them...
Where I live, burglars have poisoned the dogs and then just broke in...

I agree with the gun idea.
Plus, a robber wont hesitate a minute to kill a dog. Sad but true.
