Okay, seriously, I must be crazy relying on the online community for something like this but I've gone desperate....The police and everyone else are incompetent...

Someone might be planning to attempt a break in...we believe it's the same two suspicious guys going around our different branches asking weird questions like how much money do we make or something five months ago (see why I call the police incompetent)

And last night, the delivery boy was being followed, he knew he was being followed and still went to our house to deliver the money...WTF!?

The two men asked a guard next door if it was "our" house and he actually pointed them in the right direction... 😔 Do they not consider it suspicious when two men come asking for who's house is where in the middle of the night standing exactly where there is no light?

Now they possibly know my dad's name, our house and our stores...any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Security system of some sort seems to be the obvious solution, though if they've really been after you for 5 fruitless months I'm not really sure that would be a huge deterrent. I honestly doubt that you're as large a target as say, a bank, so I'm a little baffled as to why the same people would be continuing to pursue the same target for so long unless there's some sort of personal connection involved.

Regardless, if the police aren't helping at all, security system, change the locks, maybe a large dog.

We don't, it's just so my mom can count and check if the money is the same as shown in the receipt...we do that to ensure our employees don't steal anything but do the two men know that? No they don't, they just know that my mom has cash in her purse.

Sorry, I was actually trying to suggest that it's possible that it's not the same people. Not many people actually have enemies, so I had actually written that off in my mind, obviously if you had some you would of thought of them already. The whole thing just seems a bit odd to me. I mean, logically speaking, if you're going to spend that sort of time/effort on apprehending personal information, why target a more-or-less ordinary middle class family?
