Kurokami Anime Ending

Well, I personally think the Kurokami anime ending sucked really badly. Kuro should have been able to live a happy life - not be forced to isolate herself from the world and live a pitiful existence in solitude.
The manga is my hope of salvaging this mess.
I really hope the manga follows a separate path from the anime... The manga is still ongoing in Japan so I see that as a good sign...

well, i drop the anime after 2 episodes, but I'm almost certain that the manga will not follow the anime. (I actually do not know any manga based on anime, it is mostly the other way around)

Been reading the manga, but stopped at episode 3.
If you think that the ending sucked, guess i'm not watching anymore episodes of the anime. Or maybe I'll just wait for what others thought of it before i permanently drop it.

Ending is alright but yea Kuro, sealer herself away that many years but u never know if there is a time difference in the special place so it could have been like 2 years for her and like 50 years for the guy... I mean to be they made it sorta a nice ending with him getting married and living a happy life then.
it looks like hes lived over 50 years when he dies and Kuro has only aged like 2 or 3 years and with him dieing he said he will take the curse now and its her turn to live a happy life :) But she was in love with him so i dont know if she can live a happy life without him :(

Yeah, that's another thing that bothered me about the ending. I thought for sure they would do a KuroXKeita ending. Akane is nice, but they rarely show her or develop her character so I never had much attachment to her.
The whole ending struck me as bittersweet and sad, with Yakumo and his contractor separating too.

Im a Moran read this after my first one
Tho another thing is i said now that kuro can live her life now that he died but she cant she said i wont kill myself until u have lived a happy life now that he died is she going to kill her self because she still has the curse and in ep 22 she said she would die after he had ??? so does that mean she was stuck for 50 years in a seal and now she has to die thats a bad way for her to go haha :p that sucks
Well, I cant agree with everyone else, for me it was a great ending..
I was rooting the Akane-Keita relationship, maybe that's why, but I felt really comfortable with the ending, I haven't read the manga yet, but to tell you the truth, I don't like series in which the ending is so obvious from the very begining (Kuro-Keita), and Akane really deserved a good ending, so I'm really happy with it. It was interesting, great action scenes, very good story, nice ending what else do you need? :)

i did not like it either, hoping on the manga now, i don't really like endings that show all the way to the end meaning even after a happy ending like being married or getting together they show it after that up to the guys death. pff. wack. well i know it was so that kuro's side of things get be resolved and she can wait it out but still...
what can u expect from a monthly/bi-monthly mangas made in to anime, especially when the manga is still ongoing, they will catch up to fast and are forced to do anime only stuff, if only they waited after the manga ended or during its near finish. like timing both the manga and anime end just weeks apart or something like that.

The ending really suck, though the animation is good.[spoiler]
Its just shit that Kuro had to live all alone on the holy land. I would have prefer an end where Kuro finds love and that keita went with her on the holy land and lived there forever with her. In the end he just married the old Akane which is no good compare to Kuro and dies surounded with his grandchild while kuro still lives almost alone. I wish they could have ended the anime in a better way, i just sad that Kuro didnt find love because shes a worthy character 1 that i wish to meet 1 day...sigh 😕

I loved the series up until the ending. Once the heart wrenching romance comes into the picture the whole series went downhill. I liked how it seemed Akane betrayed them all by teaming up with Raishen. Kuro and Keita's bond was pretty solid if I may mention, also stirred romantic feelings but Keita is a moron so he saw nothing but Akane's breasts. Seriously, Kuro deserved most of the credit rather than Akane. While Keita has a typical neuseating happy ending by marrying Akane, Kuro goes back to the Pureplace where she accepts she can't be with Keita. I was satisfied with that but did Keita have to marry Akane? 😐 Maybe it's b.c I'm a KuroKeita fan or simply because Kuro deserved more of a happy ending then Akane. All in all the ending sucked. Period.

I think the anime ending was acceptable, under the circumstances, but not a good one. Leaving a space of many years... so, what happened in all those years? 😕
Anyway, people like us that have been reading the manga, i think they hated the poor adaptation of the story and the many changes done >:-( , not too much the animation itself or the music.
I don't want to read such an ending like that in the manga. 😔

I didnt like the anime ending but if you are reading the manga hoping for a Kuro-Keita ending, you are most likely to be dissapointed, as all of the hints point that Akane has romantic feelings for Keita and quite possibly Keita has feelings for her too, but, however its been made quite clear that Keita does not and will most probably never have romantic feelings for Kuro. Also, so far, Kuro hasnt been shown to like Keita in that way in the manga.
I like Akane so, I might be a bit biased but that's how it honestly looks to me, Keita treats Kuro like a little sister, and Kuro treats Akane and Keita as family. Kuro knows very well about Akane's feelings for Keita. But I am hoping that Kuro will still stay with Akane and Keita after they are married and watch over their kids

I agree with Rhades and mostly everyone that thinks Kurokami's ending was terrible.I absolutely agree about [spoiler]

Idk about you but i think WOMAN like her(Akane) are really out of their mind or they are outrageously big yokels(an indecent person).Because well hm......... i don't know its just stupid .I hope you understand what am i trying to say

So Akane is indecent because she is marrying an younger guy while Keita is alright if he marries a 4-5 years younger Kuro? 😀
