So, my question to all is: how much time do you spend on a normal working day in front of your pc in your free time?

I used to spend up to 3 or 4 hours playing CSS and other games some years ago, but now I just don't have that much time. And instead of playing CS, I now prefer watching anime or reading mangas or just surfing and chatting and listening to music...

I spend quite a lot of time at my computer. Only times I'm not at my computer is when I'm at school, out with friends, eating or sleeping. But then again my computer is on my study table and its just so alluring. Then theres the whole thing of when I'm reading or watching anime and manga. I get so absorbed sometimes I just don't leave my computer until i finish reading or watching the complete series.
So roughly i spend 6hours a day at my computer

careful, 6 hours is a long time, it's probably affecting your mental and physical health. (hate to sound like your mother though).

i'm in my final year of school so i don't have a huge amount of time, but i still usually spend 1&1/2 to 3&1/2 hours on weekdays, and 2 to 4&1/2 hours on weekend days.

The internet is just a brilliant source for social interaction, information absorbtion and plenty of pleasure. In my opinion it is one of the most productive uses of spare time, as long as you maintain some balance in your life including physical activity, normal social interaction and study. (of which i include, although likely defficient in)

umm i think she's a special case. well referring to how she got so much attention :s could always be mistaken though... but she's female. and she's young. <_<

why back in the day we didn't 'download', we had to swim to japan if we wanted fresh anime and that was only if...

a lot of the time i'm on the computer doing homework so i don't know if it really counts, but either way i know that i spend waaayy too much time on the computer

Meh...probably 5 hrs for me on regular days.

I'm in the same case .... But I "work" as webmaster too so .... and I played a lot with CSS (cascading style sheets !)

I'm on the computer for quite a bit on average, Anytime I'm not working,studying, or having a life is spent on the computer. I try to get as much as 3-4 hours. I sometimes wake up early so I can get a manga or two in before I Go to class. College life does not include free time.

depends... some days i'll spend only an hour because of homework, but if i have free time, i'll be on the computer all day, morning to night... it's pretty bad haha. There's nothing to do around here tho >_>

I'm in front of a computer for almost 8 hours a day... But hey I'm studying software engineering. So I'm mostly not playing around.
But if we are referring about the time I spend doing something else than my work... well that's probably not much... depending on how much work I have and how close is the deadline, it can be under 1h or can go up to 3~4h on free week ends. I don't know it might seem like I have so much free time to be around here a lot but that's not really true. Free time is hard to come by. I just visit the site frequently, even when I'm working... it helps me relieve the stress a bit and doesn't take much of my time.

Good thing about going on the Internet is that eventually, you'll reach insanity....like Anima
