And no,never seen/read it. Always thought it was too overrated, but then again that's what I always think about series like these. Based on the summary it's easy to conclude that there is no basic plot, no? But I guess that's the point of Lucky Star. I may try it though, can't be that bad.

Is that manga the same as the anime?^-^

I'm sort of liking it so far, but I'm not very far in. I think it could have been translated better, and maybe it is in later volumes. I don't have volume 2 yet, but I do have volume 3 and it looks like it has a different translator. But it seems pretty nice.
