Ok I know this is going to be annoying, but I am quoting myself, why? because I want you to know why I think only those 4 should be in the next one

Josei is the female counter part of Seinen... and in my eyes both are pretty much the same, I don't know why they split it like that, is not like the content is any different, just that the lead is a girl >_>

Japs categorize too much

If there is realism, not sugar pop plots and you can actually be sure that the chances of a happy ending are not 100%, is a Seinen/Josei.

Shoujo the plots are usually good and there are several spins, but regardless of that, it can't beat the human side of Seinen/Josei, I mean that Seinen/Josei plots are imperfect (MAYURI IS RIGHT IMPERFECT THINGS ARE A WIN) and thus in Shoujos you can sometimes guess the ending from the start >_>

Shounen cliches that many people love and like, and I am one, but Plot wise are not a must read.

Yaoi, I have hear that its plots are quite good and sometimes can match the best Seinen/Josei out there, BUT gay love is not something that I like to read >_>

and so I still stand, in the next poll just make it with those 4 🙂 and lets see how the vote goes in that one

These are just some of the more popular choices, but i'm sure there are other suggestions. Keep in mind that it should be an anime/manga with a large ensemble cast of unique characters to choose from. 😀

I'm currently surprised on the current "Favorite Demographic" poll where "Yaoi" is the current top one.. followed closely by "Shoujo"...which leads me to kinda think that there are more girl manga readers than guys... but that's just my assumption... I've always thought there are more guys that reads mangas than girls... and it'll be a bit weird if most of those percentages that reads "Yaoi" & "Shoujo" to be guys.. lol

So for the next poll.. it'll be interesting to see the ratio of guys & girls that visits manga-updates that reads manga..

Just some suggested options. The conversion used to be $2 to every £1 roughly but since the cash crisis it's got down to $1.7 to every £1.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.
