Maybe what do you think of people that "love" or are "obsessed" with Manga/Anime characters a little too much?
a) Life is a bitch and I agree with them, 2D beats 3D any day of the week
b) Being a fan is not wrong, but when you LOVE them... you went a little too far
c) Manga/Anime are nothing more than hobbies is good to like a series, but everyone hates extreme fanaticism.
d) Wake up people manga sucks, now Anime is WIN
so hows that?

Has BU ever considered running joint polls with some other forum group?
I suspect forum polls are heavily skewed depending on what sort of members the site has. Anime News Network for example, seems to have older forum members and that has got to show in the polls.
They're currently running a poll for "Anime Watching Preference" here :[url]http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/survey/162/[/url]
Now, I know BU is a Manga site, but if you don't mind Anime polls, it would be really interesting to see if we get different results over here compared to ANN.
Of course, it would be polite to go talk to their mods first before running the joint poll 😃

How loyal are you to your favourite Mangaka(s)?
-I only read series from certain Mangaka(s)
-I have my favourites, but will try Manga from other Mangaka if they are recommended
-There are a few Mangaka I follow, but I don't hesitate to read other Mangaka's works

Do you ever start reading the Manga after watching the Anime? (ie, doing things backwards)
-Yes, because I want to get spoiled
-Yes, but only after the Anime has finished: I want to know what the original ending was
-No, I don't waste time going over the same plot twice, ie, if I'm watching the anime, I don't bother seeking out the manga
-No, I choose anime series to watch based on the manga I've read
-Not applicable, I only read manga

No, we never considered it. I'm not going to go around finding places to do joint polls with. Now if someone comes to me, I'll consider it
And ANN does surveys, not polls. They're slightly different, and surveys can't be done with our current system here
