There's been a lot of Isekai/reborn type of manga/light novels going around... Not sure if we've done these before or something similar but...
Just curious as to what type of rebirth ya'll would rather be born into? Lol, not really manga relatedLike:
You're reborn, would you rather remember your past life:
-As a baby (right away)
-As a child (toddler to preteen)
-As a teen (13-19)
-As an "young" adult (20-40)
-As a mid-aged uncle/aunt (40-60)
-As an old person (60-80+)
-Never
-Rather not be reborn at all

This one is topical, due to the sexual abuse scandals in Hollywood and the drama about confirmed pedophile Nobuhiro Watsuki.
Let´s say that a beloved creator of yours (it can apply to any medium) is suddenly facing prison charges, committed a very serious crime or started to crusade against a specific group of people. How will you treat his or hers fictional work going forward? The fault in our Stars
Death of the Author applies, so i don´t care
All works are forever tainted
Only the new work will be tainted
Only works i can connect to the crime are tainted
Only the creators works are tainted, spin-offs or adaptations aren´t
It depend on the crime
I will rethink my position once the author paid his due

I have another one. Art styles vary but typically within a demographic there are lots of similarities, eg shoujo the sparkles and big eyes, or shounen with the spiky hair. So...
Are you able to determine the demographic/genre of a manga by the title/volume cover?
Yes
No
Sometimes?

What is your prefered chapter lenght?
-Short (10 pages)
-Normal (20 pages)
-Long (40 pages)
-Very Long (50+ pages)
Something like this, where the short/normal categories would mean weekly series and long/very long would mean monthly series.
Yes, you're worthy!

Hi... I'm back.. Again.. With another question... Ahem
You know a manga/story is incomplete and on hiatus. Would you still pick it up?
Yes, there are still chapters to read
No, waste of time
Depends on the story

Not sure if these have been done before but here are a few I can think of...
-How comfortable are you telling people, who don't read manga, that you read it? (scale question)
-What reactions have you gotten after telling someone you read manga? (Ex answers, COOL! Me too!, WTF.. )
-What's most the outrageous genre combos? (Pick a few crazy combos that don't seem to go well together.)
-Why did you first start reading manga? (Some scenarios)
-When were you first introduced to manga? (Ex. Through anime, friends, books, library, etc...)
-What genre of manga would you like to see created more often? (Name unpopular genres)
-How do you read your manga? (Library, purchase the book, online, download pdfs, etc...)
-Why do you wish reading manga was more wide spread? (reasons)

Also, last ones I can think of is, "How important is it that you like the art of a manga?"
How many times has "bad" art stopped/prevented you from reading/finishing manga?

A follow up question, sorta. Inspired by an old poll.
Manga is complete, but dropped by scanlation group:
Read it anyway
Skip it
It is 5 AM. You are currently:
- sleeping like a baby
- trying to sleep but can't
- waking up
- reading manga
- gaming
- out with friends
- finally done procrastinating, just starting homework / studying
- working
- thinking about manga poll suggestions because you just realized the one you suggested was already suggested >_>
maybe this has been already suggested too... oh well, I tried...

I got a ton of ideas. I do not expect all of them to be used, but maybe they can be saved for a rainy day.
Should names of food be translated?
-Yes, all of them (ie. translate "takoyaki" to "octopus balls")
-Yes, but only the unpopular/uncommon ones (ie. leave "takoyaki" alone, but maybe translate "kiritanpo")
-No, leave them as-is
How do you feel about heavily localized series? (Pokemon, Ace Attorney, etc.)
-I generally prefer the original Japanese names & settings (eg. Fushigidane from Masara Town)
-I generally prefer the localization (eg. Bulbasaur from Pallet Town)
Best way to convey the elongated "O" sound?
-With an "H" (eg. Tohsaka Rin)
-With a second "O" (eg. Ookido Shigeru)
-With a "U" (eg. Kudou Shinichi)
-With a macron (eg. Mōri Motonari)
-Take a chance without any add-ons at all (eg. Saeba Ryo)
Have you ever seen your country/culture depicted in manga?
-Yes, and it was quite accurate
-Yes, but they got a few things wrong
-Yes, but it seemed a little outdated
-Yes, but they've got it very wrong
-Yes, and I found it offensive
-Yes, but it was only briefly mentioned in dialogue
-No, but I've seen a fictitious country/culture that looked similar to mine
-No, I have never seen my country/culture depicted in manga
-I am of Japanese descent and this question is mostly redundant to me
Are you Japanese?
-I'm fully Japanese
-I'm half-Japanese
-I'm mixed, but mostly Japanese
-I'm mixed, but mostly non-Japanese
-I'm not Japanese at all
Have you ever tried reading manga while drinking?
-Yes, and it was an enjoyable experience
-Yes, but it made no difference
-Yes, and it was an unpleasant experience
-No, but I would be interested in trying
-No, and I am not interested in trying
-No, I don't even drink
If a manga has more than one title (ie. Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan), which do you generally prefer?
-Original Japanese title. Always.
-English/Alternate title
-Whichever is shorter
-Whichever is easier to pronounce
-Whichever is more popular
Thoughts on translating onomatopoeia/sound effects?
-They should be translated to English when possible (ie. "pin-pon" to "ding-dong")
-They shouldn't be translated, but the kana should still be romanized
-No, leave them alone, they're usually not important enough to warrant any editing
Thoughts on indirect translations? (Such as Japanese>Chinese>English, or Japanese>English>Spanish)
-I don't like them because they're more likely to be inaccurate
-I like them because the releases can sometimes be faster than direct translations
How should non-standard Japanese dialect (such as Kansai-ben) be translated?
-Translate to standard English
-Translate to another non-standard dialect (Southern US, Scottish, Cockney, etc.)
-Add more contractions to certain words
If I've made a thread in the "I'm Looking For..." forum, I am only interested in Japanese manga. I am not interested in non-Japanese media at this time.

You hate the main character. Do you continue reading?
- Yes, the story and art are more important to me.
- Maybe, I hope the MC will improve.
- Unlikely, I don't want to waste my time when I can't fully enjoy it.
- No, the MC ruins the story.
