• manicheism of characters (good and bad, introverted and extraverted, ...)
• lack of realism (behaviours, history, relationships, ...)
• lack of originality (often the same tropes)
• bad art
• bad storytelling (pacing of the narration, saying instead of showing, too long/short, failed endings, ...)
• social/cultural values conveyed (elitism, homophobia, sexism, racism, cult of normality, ...)

I hesitated about adding an entry about the scanlation work, but thought it better to keep the poll about manga itself, even though it may introduce biases.
