So, I've always wondered: Why do people hate yaoi fan pairings?
I don't exactly understand how it's something that can be found so bad.

Any thoughts?

maybe because most of the yaoi fan pairings are djs from famous mangas that are not yaoi...for example naruto, prince of tennis or hikaru no go. all of them are shounen or so and that indicates that it's made for boys and well most boys don't like yaoi so thats why they don't like yaoi fan pairings of the series they read....

I also don't understand why, but I think Zero-chan has a good point. Think about it, if you have some manga you like and someone decides that the pairings should be changed and two people who totally don't match together are in love, you think, what the hell... that isn't supposed to be like that....
That's how other people feel about fan pairing.

I've watched alot of rants against Yaoi fan pairings, and most of the guys argue that.. "How can they even be gay?" or something like that. xD I guess they simply just don't like yaoi. l: I really dislike how they hate yaoi fan pairings, yet they don't mind yuri fan pairings. 🤢

i'm a yaoi fan but i don't like fan pairings. i remember when i use to be into Vampire Knight and i would see fans posting things about how Kaname and Zero should be a couple, and it totally doesn't make sense to me. i think some girls get way too obsessed with yaoi and start just imagining every hot guy they see as a part of a gay couple. and @Rydesk i guess the reverse happens too with yuri fan pairings. but i think anyone would get a little annoyed when you have a manga that you like and others come along and change it and make it into something its not.
