Honestly it's been so long I can't even remember. It was probably around 14 though. I am terrible with cell phones though. I lose and damage them constantly. I lose them and then get a new one and then manage to find the old one and this goes on and on. I have a box of cell phones because of this. Some that had only been used for a month. I don't know why I don't get rid of them... they've turned into a type of collection.

20, it was in 2009. As i needed to reliably call my mother to pick me up from my military base on Friday, during basic training. I "inherited" her phone though and my current 2nd also belonged to her. Both were about 1 decade old when i got them. The only numbers i saved on it are my parents too. Phones ain´t my thing.

I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

Around 13, I believe. It became too inconvenient to always borrow someone else's phone to call my mom to pick me up after school activities ended, and I had the free phone that you get when you sign up for a plan. Kept the free phone till I was 20 when I got my first smartphone.

As far as when I got my first cell phone, probably 8th grade (so 13). However, it didn't have service, only wifi, and it was like my dad's old phone. Like 10th grade (15) was when I got my first cell phone that was all mine and had service and everything like what normal people use their phones for.
