well, i guess human thought proccess is somehow random, as seen as when we talk or chat whith other people, it´s uncommon to stay in the same topic for a long time (of course there are exceptions), usually we just jump from topic to topic. I guess more rational, intelligent and with more concentration power people can stay more longer in the same topic, but that is like a monologue, there will be few people able to follow the conversation whitout getting bored.
Talking about randomnes, sometimes i can´t stand how random are some tv shows (specially "The Simpsons") or i get surprised at how random was the way things developed (of course that was the guionist doing and maybe intentional).
well, random people don´t make a long post, and don´t read long posts (i don´t so im random too, i guess 😃 )

Nope, it can't be random. A thought is always triggered by another thought. Just as we can't teleport from Point A to B, that is how we can't randomly pick a thought in our dormant memory. Maybe in the future we will develop a technology for that, though I have no clue how that could be useful. 🤣
