Is it what character I would want to fight, or what character I could actually beat up? I'm confidant I could take just about any character that has never had any form combat training or prior combat experience. Beyond that it would depend on the person. I would definitely lose if they had supernatural abilities though. My basic martial arts and small amounts of sword fighting experience can't take that.

I'd seriously like to beat up Near from Death Note though.
