Most likely, you inherited some of the bad eyesight genes. Maybe both your parents had them and gave them both to you, or maybe one of your grandparents or something had really terrible eyesight and you just happened to inherit that gene.

Of course, genetics isn't the only factor... it's just the one we are more certain about. The other factor is environmental factor, but that one... well, we still don't have any theories about those we're confident in yet. It might be too much eye strain, stress, diet/nutrition, etc.

Usually, the degree in which eyesight worsens is highest at the stages of puberty and stuff, where a person goes through most of their changes and stuff. After that point, it generally doesn't change too much afterwards, until you start getting old and they deteriorate with everything else.

Also, Asians have the highest probability of myopia, followed by Europeans, with Africans generally having the lowest probability of near-sightedness.

My views:

1. It doesn’t bother me at all.. and personally, no one’s forcing anyone to post in particular threads
2. A lot of forums diverse from other topics besides anime/manga
3. It’s a tad pit hypocritical in my opinion if someone's going to complain bout things like that, when they post in the chatter box that has topics that relate to manga/anime in no way..
4. The Adult (18+) forum is mainly (not only) a place for discussing any 18+ series. Topics of explicit sexual nature that we (the mods/admins) deem inappropriate will be locked. & They’ve just stated that they'd lock any topics they think have gotten out of hand/deem inappropriate
5. At least they’re not spamming.

This is just my opinion.. and I've edited it so it doesn't sound like it's being personally directed to anyone that reads it... cause that not what I'm doing

I could name several more.. but I'm not.. and I enjoy putting my 2 cents in, in a lot of different topics 🤣

If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.
