I dont support homosexuality much, but I have a lot of lesbian and gay friends and they cant help how they feel or who they love and I would never make them feel hated or abnormal. So even though im not for it, I dont hate or discriminate against them either. I guess im neutral 🤨

Last saturday while i was in bar with couple friends some gay person tried to hit on me. It was really uncomfortable situation.

I have friends who are lesbian, gay, satanic, mormons, cristians, catholics, jewish, islamic, hindu, atheist, ,,,,all types.

I just have one rule with them .....don't push your beliefs, lifestyle on to me.

Two of my closest friends in junior high and early in high school turned out to be gay, and while I don't hate them at all, I can also understand how someone can be uncomfortable, angry and even hostile due to experiences they had.

I mean, these are close friends where I spent the night at their houses and stuff, and when I had to hear 2nd hand that they came outta the closet, I felt pretty betrayed. It's just an icky feeling to think there was the possibility through all those years that they could have been taking advantage of me. But I guess it wouldn't have been easy for them to say they were gay, especially not in front of my face and expect me not to explode or something.

But to top it off shortly after college I moved into a house with 2 of my friends and a 4th guy I didn't know very well. He never admitted he was gay, and not that I would have asked him since it's not something nice to do. But a line has to be drawn whenever we'd sit down to watch TV and he starts gently stroking your arms and legs. Drove me nuts.

And this is just from ppl I know, had lots of other getting "hit on" experiences too that weren't all that great. I dunno, I don't wanna hate on gays, but I can't help but to try and avoid them too. Guess I'm just unlucky.

And why it isn't natural? You know, I read a while ago an article about homosexuality in nature and it is much more common than you might think. Gay swans, dolphins, walruses, apes... even gay giraffes exists. hmmm... it's interesting you should say that. when I found out about one of my friends was gay. My relationship with her didn't change in the slightest. She went through some pretty rough times in high school, and I didn't know the reason why until after we finished. I tried to be as supportive as I could and that helped a lot. So I guess I have a hard time understanding those who don't deal with it as well or are not as supportive.

thats just me of course, everyones reactions with how they deal will be different. I guess thats just how I dealt with the situation when I found out.

Hmmmm first off I´m not homophobic, though I find that sexual orientation disgusting......same goes for pedophiles.
BUT something that´s always annoying me in these "gay" topics is the "OMG xy is homophobic..he´s soo narrow minded" well if you were as open minded as you claim you are, you would accept the fact that there are ppl who dislike somone for the sheer fact of his/her sexual orientation.

Anyway back to topic: I mainly use the term "gay" to describe an annoying/fucked up situation.Like when my comp crashes while I didn´t save my work I would say "now that´s gay>>".

I would not care even if he does
break laws. It is not my problem.

I don't mind gay people. They're just people. Which sex their into doesn't concern me, as long as they know I'm not laid that way.

I do tend to use the word 'gay' much like Fizzle above stated; to describe a kind of situation, or thing. But I never mean it in a downgrading way toward the people who are gay.
I don't know any gay people, that I know of, but I can't see myself acting different around them even if any of my friends were gay.
