Great chapter imo! Finally moving forward and alot too. And wtf Danzou Hokage? Quite expected tho. The Konoha people will not accept this and they will probably let Sasuke face danzou one on one! When Danzou is killed kakashi will become hokage but he'll say Naruto is the man for the job =) Sasuke and naruto will become friends without a fight since naruto has a completely different mind than danzou has of ruling the country. I wonder tho what Tobi is up too! Really interesting chapter!

About Tobi I think he will pay a visit on konoha to meet someone or go after Konan or ??

I thought it was nice that Naruto was accepted by Konoha with warm welcomes. 🙂

I've been waiting for the other akatsuki members to get into action now.

But damn, now that Danzou is in the scene, we're going to expect some drastic changes.. y'know, since he's a total control freak and all.

Now that he's hokage, he can (publicly) order a bunch of ninjas to assassinate Sasuke. (That's if they can.)

A huge turn of events will happen in a bad if Danzou starts ruling the village, i don't like that guy at all, can't wait for him to get pawned by Sasuke. And Madara is the next issue, wonder what he'll do 😕 . The suspence is defintely going to kill me 😀

I think it'd be trouble for Naruto--they have opposite ideas and Danzo wants to protect Naruto as a weapon...I'm sensing a rebellion (by Naruto or something)...

And I wonder what'd Konan do in the future?

It felt so close--part of me hoped (though I knew it couldn't happen yet) that Naruto, so accepted would become Hokkage, but Naruto's probably never going to become Hokkage...I imagine they'd nominate and say he would, but then before it's official, I suspect Naruto will die and Sasuke will continue Naruto's mission (though yes, it is a strange theory lol)...

Am I the only person who still thinks that Danzou and Tobi are the same person? I was thinking that Tobi was going to the Hokage meeting to deal with the vote.

Also, did we not see that Danzou created Pain in the flashbacks? I do not see the Third ordering anyone to make a deal with the Land of Mist and killing all opposition...but, I guess he could have been different in the beginning.

So that's how they decide who to be Hokage.
I mean I take longer than that to decide on what to eat for lunch and whatever happened to democracy? No voting no discussion just a bunch of old dudes figuring out the next Konoha Idol when there's someone outside their window getting all the supporters. 🙄
Oh well it's not like it matters cus Danzou as Hokage will surely be interesting. Maybe Naruto will act like what he wants to be for a change to take what he rightfully should have been after what he has done for Konoha compared to the guy that "disappeared for a few months and came back looking like the last boss".

This is why I don't like Sakura. Everything was very heartwarming until Sakura had to be all bitchy by yelling at Naruto and hitting him on the head. It's like she can't thank Naruto without hurting and/or insulting him first...

Other than that, this chapter was pretty good. We need one after that Deus Ex Machina last chapter. And I just realized what Kishimoto did. Now that everyone the village is proud of Naruto, he doesn't need to become Hokage. Except for the fact that his reason for becoming Hokage has now changed after talking to Nagato. Pretty slick writing there.

That would be awesome. Sadly, no one would know that Danzou didn't do anything seeing how there was too many things going on during the Pain attack. And the fact that Danzou is part of Konoha's elders, so he's not really supposed to do any fighting. But it would be hilarious if something happens where this chapter ends with Danzou becoming the 6th Hokage, and then the next chapter starts with someone saying, "Wait a minute! Danzou's punk ass didn't even try to at least help during the Pain invasion! Sit the fuck back down Danzou, you ain't the 6th Hokage." 🤣

Danzo is the one who caused all this mess with Pein and I'm sure we can track his little fingers to Orochimaru (before he went bad and before he ran away) and to Akatsuki.

i'd like to point out that i called that tobi who is madara is also danzo ages ago dr love. I think its pretty obvious now isn't it? Madara says he has an important matter to attend to and sends kisame to finish the 8 tails. Succinctly danzo declares his nomination for hokage. that is proof that they are one in the same. Danzo's self nomination is the matter madara had to deal with. Both madara and danzo have the same hair, and the biggest clue, madaras only visible eye is the same one danzo has bandaged. that is awesome writing.

The people is probably gonna riot. I mean no one even knows the guy. Everyone just recognized Naruto as their savior. Either they're gonna drop Danzo from the candidacy or his position will be short-lived.

We'll just have to see about that, Venice. 😛 I'm still doubtful though. The chapter itself was interesting, and showed a lot of development. I'm curious as to how this will develop.
