For a transition chapter, it was actually quite interesting.

I've come to realize that there are just way too many characters for Kubo to be dragging out EVERYONE's story.

The current pace is pretty decent.

Its picking up itself, just little but still. I wonder if itl really be a 1v1 between Kirosaki and Aizen. I doubt it, theres still Gin n the other guy. Well, good enough chapter for me.

Interesting? I think it was predictably dull. Since Ichigo is the main protagonist, it is obvious that he has to take on the boss.

Plus we already knew that Ichigo hadn't seen Aizen's shikai. And Aizen wouldn't be much of a strategist if he hadn't shown it to everyone in Soul Society...

I wonder how Unohana will manage to put Hyori back together.

I'm talking about the dialog between Mayuri and Kuchiki.
Ichigo taking on Aizen was destined to happen the moment Kubo's pen hit paper. Its presumably understood.

I do love how he just left everyone there after going through so much trouble to help them all.

A story-arc completion at least. Who says Aizen's the final boss? Another conspiracy could randomly turn up at any point. They haven't been to hell yet either. It could drag on for years...

I'm enjoying the pacing here too. Either someone slapped some sense into Kubo Tite or he changed his dealer...

Good enough. I mean--it wasn't really bad. I liked Mayuri's dialog. I would actually really love it if Bleach got back to its former glory, I mean, I can always hope... (The spoilers for the next chapter look pretty cool)

They'd all be in danger if he brought them back. Besides, some people still need to be healed (Chad, Renji, and Rukia), and if Grimmjow is still alive and is still raging like crazy, then that means that there's only 2 Espada against 8 or 9 good guys. If Grimmjow's alive and defected, then that's just 1 Espada versus 9 or 10 good guys. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

And I had hoped that Urahara or Shinji would be the ones to defeat Aizen, but I'm glad that Kubo at least gave a justifiable reason as to why the main hero is the only one that is able to kill the main villain.

Agreed. I thought defeating Aizen was just a matter of strength, but now it makes sense why even the Vaizards needed Ichigo there. It's going to be interesting to see what Ichigo may have to do to avoid seeing Aizen's shikai.

You know, I think Ichigo won't fight Aizen, it's to predictable. Maybe we'll see intervention from Isshin, Uruhara, Ryuken, or Yoruichi. Or maybe, Tatsuki, Asago, or Mizuiro.

Regardless of whether Ichigo has or hasn't seen his shikai (I personally think that he has fallen prey to it, he just doesn't know it) there are couple more things Ichigo has to deal with. He's having trouble using his new hollow mask, Aizen has more than two times the spiritual pressure of a captain, he appears to have mastered all four shinigami skills (his kido skills as a vice-captain were enough to shock Tessai), he has a bankai and he's probably got a hollow mask of his own. All in all ichigo's chances of winning are very low, unless he gets beaten up so bad he goes into God mode.

whether you like it or not, this chapter was well thought out and well placed. although we kinds knew that Ichigo would be the "only one" able to defeat Aizen in the end
and the reason for it makes sense too
good chapter
now if only all bleach chapters could be as good as this one...
