At first I thought it was another term for shoegazer type rock.... then I did a wiki search.
If the bands listed in the wiki page or this page are the type you're referring to, then YES, I do listen to some stoner rock.
Although, I personally feel that the more mellow "shoegazer" type rock is more appropriate for weed smoking. =P

I don't smoke weed, and I love stoner rock.
Especially Sleep.

Then get some Kyuss.
And then get Sleep's Holy Mountain.

Ok, give me the links, never heard of those bands before. I'll maybe be interested after this.

Hmm...
If you don't know Black Sabbath, I have fear that'd you'd immediately be turned off by it.

I've listen to some songs/bands considered as such. I can't say I'm a big fan nor do I know much about it though.

I do enjoy stoner rock, though I love the doomier side of things more (Sleep, Electric Wizard, Orange Goblin, etc). 'Course I love Kyuss and the Sword, too (and Black Sabbath... but that goes without saying). I'm seeing Clutch in a couple weeks, actually, along with Red Fang, which I'm pretty excited about.
Any new bands on the scene y'all like?

Apparently, I've been listening to it for years, just didn't know it was classified as that.

<<<---- Wishes he could see Clutch.
Orange Goblin is awesome, and so is Electric Wizard.
I've been listening to a lot of Alabama Thunderpussy, The Atomic Bitchwax, and a couple others lately. I don't know if those are new enough for you.
High on Fire is awesome, too.

I need to check out ATP... I should probably order some of their albums online, since they definitely don't sell them at Best Buy =P I'm sort of playing catch-up with my CD collection, though -- I just got Sleep Volume 1 over winter break ><
And yeah, HoF is awesome.
By the way, you ever been to StonerRock.com at all? If you want a forum where Electric Wizard is considered mainstream, that'd be it. A lot of guys from stoner rock bands post there, too, which is cool. I just mention it because I've never seen anyone not from there who listens to The Atomic Bitchwax 😉
P.S. I noticed Gov't Mule in your playlist-thing... awesome band. "Don't Step on the Grass, Sam" is one kick-ass song (among many of their kick-ass songs).
