Never heard the phrase stoner rock before now, don't take drugs of any kind so probably why. I looked up the wikipedia page for it to educate myself. Never heard of those bands before. I have heard some Black Sabbath (who hasn't at least tried to listen to Ozzy?) but can't say it was my thing. I'm more an indie type of person, I think bands like Alter Bridge, Nightwish (before Tarja left) and Evanescense are as rocky as I get.
The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.
does anything with Kieth Richards in it count as stoner rock?

P.S. I noticed Gov't Mule in your playlist-thing... awesome band. "Don't Step on the Grass, Sam" is one kick-ass song (among many of their kick-ass songs).
Isn't Don't step on the grass, Sam originally by Steppenwolf? Great song either way...
It seems I do listen to Stoner rock...I just wasn't aware of it.

Ah, my bad, it was a cover of Steppenwolf. I heard it on their Roseland Ballroom live album, didn't bother to check my facts =P
"Stoner rock" is a strange genre name; I mean, if it meant either "bands to listen to while high" or "bands which were high when recording," it'd probably cover half the music scene =P So it's sort of a strange term. I think it was coined by some record exec, which is ironic.
