Is Photoshop intimidating to get into?

it is indeed intimidating at first. and it was hard for me because i have never cared for tutorials. it took me quite a while to learn to use clone tool efficiently~~
It wasn't very intimidating for me when I first started, but thats probably because I used another program (paint shop pro) and it fairly similar. The only thing that got me was how the layers worked, but it didn't take long for me to grasp the basic content.
As for using the others tools, some were totally new to me, but what I tend to do is play and learn. I'm not afraid to play and learn, so it doesn't take me long to understand what they do, how to use them, and what they're used for.
I learnt the whole basic concept of photoshop in a week.
But when starting a new programme like this, whether it'd be Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro with no experience whatsoever, it is very daunting. Tutorials helped me understand PSP when I first started it, and i'm sure it would have been the same if I started with Photoshop as well. Mind you I was only 13 when I started using PSP so I didn't know what the hell I was doing 🤣

When I first got Photoshop I had been using some image editing thing that came with my computer. I didn't feel like paying for the thing so I just had the trial version, which was the bare basics. But they weren't too different from Photoshop. So when I was doing simple stuff with Photoshop it wasn't too bad, but once I started clicking around, I did feel a little bit intimidated by the various windows and unfamiliar terms.
But a few Google searches and internet tutorials later and I felt right at home in Photoshop 😛
