Well I know I said this earlier in a post. What is being dealt with here are teenagers. Teenagers in High School and bad choice are more then likely made. So it will at some point make sense for Eba to show up at the most awkward moment in the story.

They'll go to college be in love for a while, some other girls will like Kirishima in college and stir up a little trouble.
Then Kirishima will meet Eba and will still have feelings for her and she'll also still have feelings for him and will want him. Kirishima won't want to hurt Mishima and leave her but she'll see that he cares for Eba more and so she'll break up with him and its Kirishima and Eba in the end

seriously if yo were seo would waste around 100 chapters of character development and just have a girl who just came in around 20 chapters ago win in the end? i think not. The way i see it unless seo is planning in making this series another 100 chapters long the person who ends up with haruto is either gonna be eba or nanami or no one no one else. 50% chance its gonna be eba

it's difficult to forget a girl that you brook up with because of circumstances or a stupid excuse , and it would leave a lingering feeling in your heart
the reconfession was just a return (or obliged reply) that's why it seemed forced and didn't fit with the flow
i guess he can't date other girls properly (let alone fall in love) if he don't settle the score with Eba (make her hate him or make himself hate her) or even kill her!!! 🤢

Nevertheless, I quite enjoyed the latest chapter. I must confess, it made me tear up ( What can I say? I'm a sucker for confessions...no matter how corny they may get 😛 )
I can't really tell where the story will lead to...but I'm enjoying Kirishima x Mishima while it lasts.

Haruto X Asuka is doomed to fail. It all came together far too fast. I still honestly believe Haruto and Eba will end up together. I suspect there is a terrible secret she couldn't tell Haruto but could tell Kazama and that is why she did those horrible things to Haruto. But I still see them ultimately ending up with each other.

I read in another discussion forum a theory that Eba's Step-Brother was molesting/raping her and Kazama found out and protected her and that sort of makes sense. It would especially play towards a secret that she couldn't tell Haruto, possibly out of guilt that Haruto could no longer be her first. It could also explain why she dumped Haruto (a long distance boyfriend) for one near her that could protect her.

Granted it's all just a theory someone else posited on another forum.
