  1. Acrophobia - Fear of heights, since I was kid. Though it's actually fear of falling down - I'm not afraid of high places when I know I won't fall down (like in places with high guard-rails.
  2. Gerascophobia - Fear of growing old, since like... 6 months ago o_O

@jijiey:
IDK, maybe it's related to being paranoid about being controlled/traced via mobile phones, etc?

Btw. why does this poll lack option for hikikamoris? xD

Acrophobia- Can't even climb a damn ladder.
Entomophobia- Most girls do anyway.
Pupaphobia- Ever since they bought me that freaking clown doll, I've never had a doll or puppet again.

Is there a phobia for fear of sea creatures? I get easily scared by them, even the ones others regard as cute and harmless.

I put fear of pointy things because they hurt >.<
But the other day there were two phobias that I will share

-I forget the word-
Fear of being without your cell phone

-I forget the word again, but it was a ridiculously long word-
Fear of long words

I agree with the whole fear of falling down thing. I'm always extra careful going down stairs cause I always imagine myself tripping and falling down. 😔 Or if I'm leaning on a balcony, I always see myself like tipping over

I'm also slightly claustrophobic. I go insane if I'm in like a tiny area and there's people all around me and I cannot clearly see an exit.

Ugh, I always imagine that myself. 🤢 We have this dangerous stairwell in our school to boot, so everytime I pass, I have these scary thoughts. ;__; I'm only a bit scared of heights, but I think everyone has that. I mean, who would want to fall down to their deaths.

I'm scared of heights. But, I don't know if I would actually call it a phobia. I can control it most of the time as long as I feel secure. I don't like getting onto ladders or step ladders. Don't feel secure at all - which causes my knees to lock up and my teeth to start chattering. Though, I'll still get up on them... I just don't like it.

Thats sort of messed up. If someone has a fear of long words, and you tell them the name of their phobia... then they'll be scared of the name of their phobia.

Lol. What a world. 🤣
