I still say that everything that was removed aside from shounen, seinen, josei, and shoujo (which are demographics) and doujinshi (which is it's own specific medium) are valid genres. But whatever...

My vote goes to ecchi now, even though I prefer the yuri genre.

Eek. I voted comedy, but the sad truth is that most comedy I read is romance, school life, shojo (not an option?), and sometimes drama. ^^;;

A demographics poll would be really interesting... and either confirm what everyone knows, or surprise people greatly.

It wasn't winning at the time either, Lambz changed it when romance was winning, so romance did win that time.

Why the poll change? My favourite would be shounen-ai/yaoi followed by shoujo-ai/yuri, then shota, then loli, then doujinshi.

If my top 5 favourites aren't there, I think this will be the first time I just don't vote.

I voted for sports, but gender bender would have been fine as well. The series that mix this are instant hits for me, well that or female athletes which is as close as one gets often. ^^

Mine is romance (I'm a hopeless romantic, so I voted for that), then it's comedy, gender bender, smut and harem (more towards reverse ones). Before that, I voted for Shoujo but then the demographics are gone in this poll, so I voted for romance.

And yeah, I think there should be a separate poll for demographics.
