The only reason I bother with crap is to criticize it, so it doesn't matter what kind of crap it is, I will not bother with any of them.

Huh, wouldn't think there'd be much of a question on this one being as we're all on what's primarily a manga enthusiast site........yeah, "read a crappy manga", hell, I do (at least a little) of that every day 😀

It's mostly my own fault though, they gotta be really bad before I'll just abandon 'em.

Good question. What is "crappy" supposed to mean though? Does it have to be related to my opinion or others people's opinion? I've enjoyed many animes, games and mangas that a lot of people consider crappy... if that's the case I'd go for the "crappy" (in the people of the masse) anime.

Crappy music album, because it'll just be an hour of pain and that'll be it. The rest take up considerably more time.

If it would take say like 30 minutes in which I can only choose to one crappy option to do I would go with watch a crappy tv show. I do not watch much TV so I would regret it less than say reading a crap novel or manga.

I'm pretty sure the "crappy" here refers to your own opinion. So: what medium would I rather indulge in for a work I hate? Well, probably manga. In fact, I already read a ton of manga that I think is absolute crap, but I keep at it in the hopes of finding at least a glimmer of goodness--or, uh, I'm hate-reading it. I do that a lot.

Of the list, manga also takes up the least amount of time. I can read a 30-40p chapter in about 5 minutes or less, an entire volume in 30-40 minutes. So a manga takes up only at most a third of a time that, say, a movie would take up (of which I also tend to watch a lot of crappy ones, but for entirely different reasons--I'm a cultural theorist in academia so I watch mainstream movies to analyze them).

I went with a crappy manga. To me a crappy thing is something that has a really bad story and some times bad art or bad animation and sound and I'm sure I would be a lot less likely to bitch about a crappy manga than about a crappy anime or tv show. If it was a crappy book, I would cry tears of blood as I finish the book to see if it ever gets good and that would take a while.

I don't know, I'm able to read crappy manga and enjoy it and it's the only thing I would enjoy even if it was crappy from the things on the list. If I listened to a crappy music album, I would stop listening after a few seconds, the same with some others and the rest of them I would painfully go through them until I was sick of it and had to avoid it which could be fast like with music, or really slow like with books.

Listening to a crappy music album (from start to finish) sounds to be very time efficient and passive. Quick low level torture is the best kind. In and out and forgotten.
Define "crappy" though. I constancy try out bad entertainment, how else am i supposed to find the good stuff and i for one consider (UC) BvS to be a visionary masterpiece. Better than Nolan´s TDK and crapping on it is just joining a bandwagon at this point.
Finishing a bad VN looks to be the most torturous to me.

Forgot: I hope that some scanlator and licensee can put the data from the last poll to good use.

Why would anyone choose to read a crappy manga 😕 I want with a crappy board game because I'd rather do that then any of the other choices.

In my case is because I would never bother with a crappy board game to begin with. If it was bad, I would never play it, but if I stumbled upon a manga I thought was kinda crappy, I would still read it.

I like this poll! And this thread's title made my day too!

That aside, picked crappy music album. For the same reasons above, basically.

Depends on what you mean by crappy. I love kusoge, but if I thought the game was crappy that's different. I voted manga because manga is so quick to read there's no time investment.
