Our member GodricKharg brought up the question of interrobangs, so here's a poll about them (not the question he asked, but it's related). In case you're curious, here's the Wikipedia article:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interrobang
You can submit poll ideas here
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903
Previous Poll Results:
Question: Many magazine scans have extraneous pieces of text over the actual manga content. What should the translator do?
Choices:
Leave it untranslated. It's not important. - votes: 2424 (56.5%)
Translate everything on the page. Every. Single. Thing. - votes: 1864 (43.5%)
There were 4288 total votes.
The poll ended: June 2nd 2018
If it's not related to the manga you're reading, why bother translating it?

I myself use ' ?! ' during conversations all the time.
Thus, I chose it.

I always go with "!?" since it looks less awkward to me.

I always use !? because it's what the Japanese standard seems to be. Also, it looks more stable as a shape.

Always "?!". I don't know that it's that big of a deal which one you choose, but I settled on that one a long time ago and have stuck to it ever since. Always the same for the sake of uniformity, even if it's a bubble with nothing but the raw "!?" I change it to "?!".
Mmm, I see cmertb ninja'd me, yeah, that most of the time you'll see "!?" used in Japanese is actually (as I remember) part of why I settled on "?!" for the English version. Japanese is read right to left, it makes a strange kind of sense to me to flip them to reflect English being read left to right 😀
(yeah, don't read too much into it, as I said I think it's as much personal preference as anything 🙂 )

I've always used ?!
In my head the emotion/excitement often comes at the end of the question.
Sometimes if really excited ?!!

I like ?! cause the question mark is closer to the shift... and cause its like (when read in english) 'what (?)'/shock/surprise then 'oh my (!)'/excitement... it feels weird to have the excitment first then go 'huh?'

I use "?!" because I think that question mark is more important for the conversation.

^ exactly. I think both are good but the emphasis seems to fall on the first to appear.

I prefer ?!, since the exclamation point can sometimes get a bit lost when it comes first using certain fonts.
I also feel like I tend to see ?! more often in English writing, so it makes more sense to use it when translating to something into English.

I prefer "?!" because it's a question first and foremost.

I use "!?" for Japanese dialogue and "?!" for English dialogue.
‽ this one.
Lose - Opposite of win, to misplace something/someone. e.g. To lose your way, to lose a fight.
Loose - Opposite of tight. e.g. To have a loose screw, to loosen a jar lid.
^ Not just scanlators, but also company documents are getting it wrong now!
