We hug every time we see each other -- I just spent the day with my mom today so I got my fix. 🙂

I rarely hug my parents. Maybe once a year...? I'm a very huggable person - they aren't.
The exact opposite. Though sometimes my mom comes to get a hug, she looks just like a little child wanting to play 🤣

Does her bear hugging me from behind count? She always manages to get me when she leaves from visiting, so within the last month.
Ugh I hate hugs.

I'm not very affectionate with my parents...I think I last hugged my mom about a year or two ago, and I can't even recall hugging my dad.
It's not like it's my choice, so whenever she wants to hug me... 🤣

uwa I don't remember.... orz
I've only hugged my mom as far as I know and that is only during the times I was crying... so within the last year? 😕
We're not really that kind of close family, I supposed.
So many loving sons and daughters here!

Few weeks ago, when I was leaving home to get to my own home about 600 km away.
I hug them everytime I visit them and when I leave again. And when I am thanking them for something.
Someone mentioned that although we are grown up already, our parents remember us as children.
Very true.
I tend to resent that, but I also respect their feelings and am not ashamed to give them something back. Parents usually like being hugged by their children.

My parents and I always hug - we've hugged at some point during every day that we've been under the same roof for all of the 18 years I've been alive. It doesn't really matter who instigates it - most of the time it's probably me tbh, but it's always just come naturally and I've never really thought it was that surprising - although it certainly seems so now >.<...hmm maybe it's just cos I'm an affectionate guy and always have been. That isn't to say though that we don't still fight and that they don't still nag me over the most stupid shit, but at the end of the day I still love them 🤨

I have hug-snuggles with my mom whenever I see her.
My father and I haven't hand any contact beyond fingertips since I was at least six. We've almost always lived under the same roof, but we don't exactly... get along.
Touching him is very uncomfortable.

Yesterday. Close physical contact with your parents is an excellent way to keep them happy, and thus off your back.

yea i kinda find it depressing that 19.4 percent of these ppl havent hugged their parents in 5 years
I hug my father whenever I leave his place.
Not hugging my mom though. We lack that kind of
friendly relation. I only listen to her nag.

The last time I hugged my parents was a month ago, due to distance; however, before leaving for college, I rarely hugged my parents. Having experienced their acts of discipline throughout my life(I know, I know, they did it out of love), I just could not seem to bring myself to have a warm, touchy relationship with them.
Hugging just seemed really awkward. Only in times during which it was a must(birthday parties, farewells, etc) would I feel close enough to hug them.
