My food is better when I don't have anything to do with it besides eating...
Although that knuckle sandwich sounds temping.. >.>;;
(Not as in something I'd like to try having.... I wonder if I should of just edited it all out and left my post one sentence long................ I probably would of seemed smarter. u.u'' )

My cooking is awful.

ive tried to make onigiri...
Not at all. I make curry from time to time, but it's not because of manga.

Yeah, I've made a few things I've seen in manga, BUT I looked around for good recipes first, didn't just try to recreate it from the manga. It's always interesting making food when you really don't know how it's supposed to turn out. 🤣

No, not really.
I'm not a bad cook, but I'm very lazy.
Doing things according to a recipe kill my brain, so I tend to improvise with everything I make.
It usually turns out well although I do mess up occasionally...

Yah, totally straying off the subject.
Anywho, I'd like to eat the food they make in manga, but everything looks way too complicated.
Everyone's a chef there. ~_+

Kind of.
I didn't specifically get the recipe from manga, but I have made mitarashi dango (delicious) before.
I've been wanting to make melon bread for a while now, but there is none of the melon flavor that I need in town.
The recipes specifically in manga volumes always seem difficult/complicated (too much so for me)

I never tried and i rather have someone else cook for me.
I'm really good at cooking but i don't have patience for cooking so i rarely cook something.
Most of the time i eat at restaurant or eat something i can make fast.
Food in manga has never prompted me to wanting to try to make it. Black and white food isn't appealing to me. I don't cook anyway.

As deathbypenguin posted, there seem to be a couple missing options... I cook often and have pride in my modest skills but I have never actually cooked something with inspiration from a manga. Having cooked things that I have also seen in manga, coincidentally, I wasn't exactly sure what to answer... Good topic though ^_^

Well, if making a cake from a "Christmas Cake" video tutorial that was made by a Japanese person, counts as making the cake featured in mangas then yes, I did. And that cake was good. 🙂
No manga I've read has made me want to make the food in it, since it's not really a big part. There have been parts where they cook something, but it's not like I've ever thought "Oh that looks good, I want to make that". I can't cook properly anyway, most of my meals are pre-made or only require a little prep.
