Rather than thinking about SFIV, which I'm sure will be great fun, it has made me want the upcoming downloadable version of Street Fighter in HD.

M.U.G.E.N. was about my favorite game for years
love 2d like i love manga
the thing is street fighter and soul calibur were like 2 different things no matter how much i played
one had crazy parrys and the other had vertical and horizontal combos
i played them both and loved them but i's just they appealed to different sections in my mind
the new street fighter is 3d
when i heard and saw it...it kinda broke my heart...
it's sad to see one of the biggest 2d supporters scrap the whole idea and cross over into the 3d
and on top of that the character desings look bulky and the game play is going to be like street fighter 2
not to knock street fighter 2 because it was a good game but in my opinion that kind of game play can only shine in the 2d world
in the 3d plane i feel its sort of severly lacking
and the 3rd strike sprites i've come to love have been tossed aside for an old feel
i hate...Yoshinori Ohno...he's killing capcom...
To be honest i'm looking a hell of a lot more forward to SNK Samrai showdown 3d and king of fighters Xii...especially XII
oh and the HD remix of street fighter 2 seems like it'll interest me more than this
i'm not saying this is a very bad horible game...it's just that i was kinda hoping the next installment of street fighter to go to the next level but this seems like it's a side tracked story...kinda of like the naruto anime fillers

No one should be angry about that.I think it has the best design for a fighter ever.I never really liked the digital design for 3D fighters and have always loved the ANime inspired Street Fighter style.The game is so plush and colorful,see for yourselves.

Anyway,can't wait to kick some polygonal tale with Ryu on the PS3.Just like old times.All the characters from the original SF2 are said to make a return and so far they have 2 new characters.

It will be hot then frozen then hot again after upgrade, just like SFIII.

As for me the new graphic is ok. What i concern about is the roster (i hope it doesn't have too many shotoclone) and the story (rehash of the older sf, continuation of SF3 or alternate dimension 🙂 ).

im not sure about the game not being completely 3d, it might kinda look like Smash Bros, buts thats not an entirely bad thing XD

But the one thing that bothers me the most is the graphics. It looks like it should've been released 4 years ago. They could've done way better with the graphics IMO.

looks like the it will be the most casual street fighter. I mean there is no real combo, no parry, just hit em hard like the old SF2. I don't expect much.

Guilty Gears XX AC is much more fun to play.

As long as it has the same basic gameplay and fun factor, I could care less on the looks of the game.

Also, I think Street Fighter IV is just going to be as great as the previous Street Fighter games before it.

My favorite was Street Fighter Alpha 3. I haven't played a sf game that is better than it in a long time. The last 3D sf game i played had the look factor, but the gameplay kinda fell flat on its face. This next one better offer something worthwhile to suck $60 out of my pocket...

My school got it in the Rec center! too bad its 75 cents per play haha.

The last 3D SF was a actual 3D fighter. SF4 just looks like it's still has the same gameplay of a 2D fighter just different graphics.
