A bunch of manga now have broken links in the related section. Naruto is an example and I didn´t touch it. I am fairly sure that you had to have a real series before the switch for links to be accepted. Not so now. You can now type something as simple as a letter and set let´s say sequel to i ...

They are junk data where the connected series was deleted but the relation remained.

I've modified the site to hide them. Also, when people update the related series option in the future, they will be deleted.

when on series/ manga info page, the -select- drop down menu doesn't have a reading list option.

It seems to work fine to me. There's an "Add to reading list" link. Does that not show up for you?

I have the same problem. The drop down menu shows only these options: "Complete", "On hold", "To read" ("To read" is my custom list" ) These 3 options are available when the series is in my "To read" list. If it isn't in any of my lists, then only "Complete" and "To read" options are available.

if your talking about a new series then yes, but on a series that i'm already following then that's where i'm having the issue. i only noticed because i wanted to move a manga from my unique list onto my reading list.
i can make the switch if its on the main list with all the titles i'm reading but on the specific manga i want to move the -select- drop down menu has everything except the option to put the manga back list onto my reading list

I wonder if you can fix the issue when searching a series with same title, the keyword works consistently for most titles. For example "Trump" is used by different series. The case I give here has a different author and can appear on the first page.

Trump
Trump (2011)
Trump (Hamaguri)

On the other hand, for "Player", I want to find "Player" by Oh Hyeun-Jun, I have to click see more instead. I tested this against a few titles, again with "Futari Bocchi", I don't know how they are sorted.

So, for the same main keyword with a different author's name behind, to be sorted.

I'm not sure if it's possible tho, especially with associated titles. But it would be helpful if there's a solution so as not to get distracted by other titles and less effort just by little. This is the main search so it is outside our filter zone, so random titles with (unwanted) cough covers will appear lol. At least based on my experience.

I added the Reading List on as one of the selectable lists if you are on a custom list that is of type "Read".

Is this sufficient?

Other results appear to be beating it out due to the text in parenthesis. I can probably add some filters to make it work better, but it will have to wait until I have more time. Perhaps I can increase the amount of results shown on the search page instead for now? It's currently 10.. perhaps 20?

No, I just completely misread your issue. Fixed now.

Sorry i keep bugging you about this but since this problem still persists i feel like you didn’t quite get what i meant lol..

https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=195828
https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=195737

So for eg those are 2 newly added series, and if you check their history log you’ll see nobody has made any changes to them yet, but the “last updated” section in the series page tells you that changes have been made to them in the last 24h, and that’s just incorrect.

I think the problem lies in the “related series” section. Instead of keeping all information of a series intact the same way it was added, the system deletes everything in the related series section and then adds any related series back in, so it appears as if changes have been made when there’s been none.
Maybe this isn’t really a problem but it’s not how the site has been running for a long time and if that wasn’t what you intended then i guess it’s a bug lol

I think I understand. However, thinking back to the way the old site worked, if you performed an update, it would update the last edited time, even if you changed nothing. You're certain this is how it worked?

That wasn’t what happened here. Yes you only need to physically click on the “edit” / “update series” option of any field in a manga page for it to register that a change has been made, even if you didn’t actually change any information. But in this case, as soon as a series is approved, the system displays that a change has been made to it in the last 24h, when obviously no one has done that. It’s automatic, when it shouldn’t be. That’s the bug that i’m trying to explain lol..

I thought that's what I fixed. I will double check.

Latest topics on the main page just shows 2 topics. Bug? Fairly sure I saw 5 topics earlier today...

EDIT: Back to showing 5 topics again.
