Same here. I'd need to refresh the search results page for it to show again. And this happens for the one that searches the whole site and also for category search.
I fixed the site search ... categories will have to wait till later.

Perfect. I tested on many titles with different lengths, from old to new, and they all appeared at the very first.
I fixed the titles to be NFC compliant. Let me know if you run into any issues.

Hmm, so what's different? I don't understand this NFC stuff lol, but for searching so far it's no big problem anymore...hopefully.

For Edit Log it doesn't say or even mentions when/who updates the image section
I also tested it out I had removed then added an image and no update was mention in the log

When doing an advanced search on a tag that uses the slash character (/), it becomes impossible to use the dropdown menu to display anything other than 25 series at a time. The page comes up with "There are no series in the database." every time. This is due to the slash getting replaced by the "%252F" encoding in the url when a different number from the dropdown menu is selected.
This url replacement also occurs when navigating to the next page of the search or performing a search within the results, but it does not cripple the search results in the same way as selecting from the dropdown menu does.

It mostly has to do with how dakuten and handakuten are encoded in multi-byte characters. You can essentially represent the same visual characters in different ways in the database. If you aren't consistent, then when someone searches for text, they might not find it, because it isn't encoded in the same way in the database (as their search string).
Edit: NFC is regarded as the gold standard generally across the web: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode_equivalence

It looks like publisher names are not properly working on individual manga pages anymore. Whatever programming goes into this seems to no longer detect the content in parenthesis as separate from the publisher name.
For example, Kemono Jihen, Toruso no Bokura, and [m]Watashi no Kawaii ...
Can you check again? Should be fixed?

Fixed now, thanks!
For the publisher info problem, I can't really check since Lovelyspacepanda had already fixed it and I don't want to mess with an unlicensed series just to test this. Next time something gets licensed I'll take a look, and report it if anything goes wrong.

Quoting this bc i think it’s a related issue
Before the revamp, when a new manga page is approved, the “last updated” field will appear like this:
https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=194406However, now each new page automatically gets a “last updated” date although no one has made any ch ...
Since this problem still persists I assume it was deliberate?

No, I just completely misread your issue. Fixed now.
A bunch of manga now have broken links in the related section. Naruto is an example and I didn´t touch it. I am fairly sure that you had to have a real series before the switch for links to be accepted. Not so now. You can now type something as simple as a letter and set let´s say sequel to it and you will have a dead link in the section once you are done. The series you linked to won´t be visible but what you chose for it will. In this case (Sequel).
I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.
