This chapter would've been real good if Kubo simply didn't make Barragan a complete dumbass. What the hell is with certain authors and making characters so goddamn powerful that when they realize they made them too powerful, they either give them the IQ of a rock, or make them so damn arrogant that their arrogance becomes the only reason why they lose?

The only part I liked was Soi Fons part in this chapter.

I know the chapters are just dragging around but I am really happy not to see Ichigo anywhere in the recent chapters.

There are so many great characters overshadowed by Ichigo and Hitsu-the-ice-kid ( Sorry,I am bad with Japanese names >.> )

Hitsu The Ice Kid...I like that! At least we can sorta see that kido fighters aren't all that weak. I thought when big guy had that big log floating above his hand he was gonna smack Barragan with it. I can't help but think that Barragan had a mobility problem. I'm not being sarcastic, wasn't he just floating towards Soi Fon and the morning star guy? If I'm wrong please correct me.

ok if i wrote this chapter i would just try to make it more exciting. like make them run fly say cool phrases and make her use her bankai at least 3 or 4 times, missing the first two. show some cool flips. i'd also make barrangan use a few beneficial attacks. say more cool lines. show one last huuugee explosion than finish him off. =)
but i rate this chapter a 5 out of 10.
and thats being nice.

Again, how does Barragan destroy energy? I'm beginning to think even barragan himself doesn't know how his powers really work and just decided to say he can make anything die just so it sounds cool.

Hm. Not quite sure what was going on exactly but it looked cool. That's some wicked kido. Hachi's gentle disposition is an interesting contrast with Soi Fon's snide nastiness. Also, it would appear that Visoreds + Shinigami = Fewer Battles Quicker. If the other groups get done with their opponents as fast as Hachi and Soi Sauce did Barragan then I predict new developments coming sooner than later (although the implication that the Shinigami are not enough to beat off the Espada on their own is an interesting enough development, though subtle). I wonder what pair is on deck for next week? Love & Rose v. LilyStarrk ought to be a good one.

He doesn't have a mobility problem. He was chasing around Ōmaeda in chapter 358 and he used sonido to get close to him in chapter 359.
