this chapter really sucked. just as kids use larger fonts in an essay to take up more space, Kubo spent several pages to display the kido moves.. and the supposedly powerful Barragan was finished off so quickly. looks like Kubo ran out of ideas to make interesting fights. i didnt feel any excitement at all =(

last week's was better. at least it showed what's happening with each group, and i find Mashiro's kicking poses rather cute. i wanted to see more of Wonderweiss though. the way he 1) came with the big fleshy guy, 2) injured Ukitake in a flash and 3) him being a signal for the espadas to hurry up made it look like he's quite a something. too bad he got pwned by Mashiro in one move.

i agree with this though:

also i think it would be funny to see Urahara in a kido box for a month

i wish the vizards never interfered with the captains fights. =(

soi fong take a chill pill please!!!

stupid pointless.

I agree with you. The Vizards are a cool group but I kinda wish they never showed up. Except for Shinji, Mashiro and Hiyori.

Does anyone remember Barrigan's massive axe he revealed in his release state when he was about to finish off Omaeda? What happened to it?

What the heck? First everyone asks "What's taking the Visards so long to show up?" And now they're saying they wished they never showed up? You fickle readers you.

Again, how does Barragan destroy energy? I'm beginning to think even barragan himself doesn't know how his powers really work and just decided to say he can make anything die just so it sounds cool.

Energy can't be created or destroyed, just changed (Like turning potential energy into kinetic energy.) When kido is cast the caster takes whatever energy it is and forms it into a spell. Barragon ages it so that it dissipates/weakens.

If you still don't get what I'm saying, then wiki Conservation of energy and Perpetual motion.

i.e., A battery losses its charge after a while.

I get the basic idea of it, but I don't think Kubo does, is what I've been trying to say. maybe I'm reading too much into it but this is what comes to mind when whatshisface says he ages things into nothing. Hence the catgirl sacrifice.

ah, i hate to be an ass again, but aging does not make energy disappear. I understand your comparisons and points made. We can say that the barrier or channel which controls and manipulate energy can be changed by age, though energy itself cannot be destroyed. If we have a electric charge stored in a everlasting battery, then this energy will continue to be stored in that container for as long as existence itself is ensured.

So I guess my point would be that the mangaka should have made the aging effect more toward energy manipultation instead of the pure energy itself.
