Personally I think Kira has the best zankakuto abiltiy (he has the sword that bends at like 2 90° angles when its in Shikai form).

It doubles the weight of anything it strikes, and its exponential growth...like 10 hits from that thing and his opponent cant do a thing...then he can just keep wailing on them and well...they will end up weighing like 1,000,000,000,000 lbs. And dont forget the next strike will double it again. 😀

Plus it works on ANYTHING, even your opponents weapons, clothes, anything you can think of.

Getsuga Tenshou is too basic an attack...feels like another version of Goku's Kamehameha...A blast of pure energy that destroys all in its path

I like Ashisogi Jizou...the opponent can be paralyzed but can still feel pain

Senbonzakura Kageyoshi (I surprised you, didn't I? 😀 ). And I must say that I'm impressed by Captain Ukitake's shikai.

My vote goes for captain Ukitake, of course.
His zanpakuto gets really complicated in it's true form 😲 it must have been hard to master it.

I think I'll reserve final judgment until I've seen all the captains' bankai forms. However, the attack that sticks out the most in my mind was the first time we see Rukia's shinkai. The way she effortlessly eliminated her opponent gave her the aristocratic air that she should've developed by being in the Kukichi clan.

its not very useful against zan-kaputos such as Rangiku Matsumoto's Ash Cat, or Byakuya Kuchiki's Senbonzakura, as it actually has to hit for it to be effective. Also, Ranged attacks such as Getsuga Tenshou from Zangetsu or Toshiro Hitsugaya's dragon will totally pwn kira, as he doesn't have any ability to reply; Wabisuke's only ability is the weight thing.

BTW i think Captain Yamamoto's Ryujin Jakka and Rukia Kuchiki's Sode no Shirayuki have the coolest abilities, with Yamamoto's Fire Aura and Rukia's Dances, Kisuke Urahara's Benihime also seems quite useful, and Senbonzakura Kageyoshi seems to be the best bankai; and Lieutenant Abarai Renji's Zabimaru sucks the worst; Ikakaku Madarame's Winter Cherry also sucks pretty bad

well i havent seen all the attacks yet but so far i like toshiro hitsugayas ice dragon and hinamori momos tobiume. i luv how the explosions come from it when she fought kira over gin.....im an obvious hitsihina fan girl heehee^_^

I love Ikkaku's all or nothing Bankai. It seems so fitting to his character.

i like byuakas or how ever you spell his names bankai theres more of those petals and there a second attack and his first release is pretty strong to he can take out alot of opponents with that pretty quickly

i was nervous at first it was big & long & went straight up i had to try it i eased onto it & liked it! i went up & down on it.... i love escalators now! 😀

i have quite a few faves

Rukias Zanpakto is pretty awesome especially the last dance of the blade.
Ikkakus is pretty awesome as well especially because it is so enormous and fits his personality quite nicely.
Lastly id say it was a tie between Aizens zanpakuto and Ichigos.

Hitsugaya and Byakuya's bankai. Byakuya's is just pretty and I love ice. I adore the phrase 'bankai'.
