Turning right is clockwise, yes?

The first thing I noticed was that she was turning right, because she leads with the right shoulder.

It seems easy to look at it both ways, though.

It goes both ways. Take a look at the shadow of her front foot...changes directions every few seconds.

I saw clockwise at first... Then suddenly, she started going anti-clockwise. Weird o.0

While I was looking it was going Clockwise, but then when I stopped and started following the shadow she started turning Anticlockwise aswell.
So I don't know really, since I saw Clockwise first I guess that means Right Side.

That is so awesome! When I first looked at it, it was going anti-clockwise (left). Reading more of your post, I scrolled back up and now I can mentally change the direction of the ballerina at whim now!

EDIT: I change the direction by focusing at the ballerina for one revolution and there, it changes! It's getting annoying now....I'm feeling a little nauseous....

If I try hard enough, it eventually
might start spinning counter-clockwise

Anyway, I saw it spinning clockwise at first but I can switch the direction when I focus.

It's strange. It changes direction rather erratically when I focus on it. At first it's from the left; then as I look down, towards the torso she travels to the right. I focus some more then her head changes its direction again. Its interesting, I think, its merely how much I'm trying to input on the gif and my brain reinterprets this according to what side of the brain I'm using more. This reminds me of something I saw on in a tour on optical illusions, however, this is technology based.
