Osama bin Laden wasn't some cowardly Quran scholar like a lot of these other Islamic Terrorist "leaders". At the time many in the West weren't even sure NATO could win a war against the Warsaw Pact countries, but under the leadership of Osama bin Laden an army of goat herders and poppy growers embarrassed the Soviet Union.

Osama bin Laden was talismanic figure of incredible importance for Al-Qaida. Without him Al-Qaida will probably splinter into a number of weaker, less organized, groups and even their goals will probably become divergent.

Let's not also forget, because of where bin Laden was found, it is quite probable some very important members of the Pakistani Army and ISI will suffer a series of unfortunate "accidents". Thus Al-Qaida will probably loose it's protection in Pakistan and be forced to re-locate and I can't imagine there are many places they'll be able to hide.

Everyones spelling it a different way. Usama or Osama. Who cares!? He's dead! I thought when they announced it they were lying. Then I thought it was old news and got the guy confused with Akman (misspelled ?). Then it interrupted my shows and Obama told us we had his body and how the "whole" thing went down. Bush so could not have done this 😀 This probably has helped us and much as it has f***'d us. Since we killed there leader, they'll so be back for revenge. And were so screwed if they have a secret weapon, well not alot but we be screwed somehow for sho. Plus side they be in so much chaos, we have time to reboot and try to finish this war sooner then expected. Hopefully.
