People were saying it was Obama that died because apparently a news channel made a typo by typing "Obama" instead of "Osama". =___=
Anywho, like Spawnblade, I won't believe it until I see proof.

proof

LOL@Fox News.

I'd be willing to bet money that that someone did that intentionally.

I agree... I remembered catching some Fox News (cable) from morning rounds at a hospital I volunteered at, and maaan... that is a republican channel -- I tell you!! Every democrat mentioned on that station was scrutinized, criticized, insulted... you name it...

Also.

lmao. That is hilarious.

Agreed!! Did anyone catch President Obama's one-liners at the White House Correspondents Dinner last night? XD It was an amazing Donald Trump roasting!!

I was sitting in my room and suddenly heard this guy outside yell to his friend, "Hey dude, Osama Bin Laden is dead. Yeah, it's on the news right now."

I thought it was a joke.

About damn time........... a lot of people want to see proof for themselves. They should do what they did in ancient times and hang him on the White House gate.

Hahaha, amazing what a typo can do.

But joke put aside, this doesn't make much difference terrorism-wise. I can understand why Americans really hate Osama Bin Laden, but terrorism won't stop, just because he's dead. Actually, there may even develop more potential extremists from this...

You have my sympathies.

As for the news, while I appreciate it, I think it's only a matter of time before someone else fills the spot Osama has left. Killing all of them one by one seems like a good solution, but it's not a long-term solution.

Edit -

What's the significance of 'Birth certificate' in relation to Obama?

Some lunatics thought he wasn't born in the US, so they needed proof.

Oh, we know that it's not over yet. But this was still a huge and necessary step!

Ah. Amazing, what some politicians can - and will - do to gain power.

I don't know if I agree with the 'huge' part. In my opinion, killing them one at a time won't solve anything - actually I just think it will make the extremists even more determined to become suicide bombers or something like that. To take revenge for their lost comrades.

The problem should be handled at its roots, not its branches, if you see my point. But of course it's a tough thing to crack. 😐

The thing that maddens me the most is, why the heck does it even matter if he's born in the U.S. or not? 🤨 Why worry about that when America mostly consists of immigrants (somewhere in the family branch, anyway).

Seconded! That's what I said!
Now, Osama's second- or third-hand man (you get the drift) will take over, and they will motivate even more people, spouting some non-sense about revenge! This may have been a necessary step, but it won't stop the terrorists.

And his birth place matters because if he wasn't norn in the US, he can't be the president of the US. It's a mentality thing, based on the assumtion that a person is likely to be loyal to his birthplace. Just look at Sonia Gandhi - she was born in Italy(I think), and married an Indian politician. She had to pass up the Prime Minister's seat just because she of that. And in the end, it didn't matter - she just put a puppet in her place.(not saying I condone it - seems silly to me)
