Script and plot. You can never guess what will happen and 'nonsense' feel of the story.
What do you look for in a comic/manga?
plot and script. I don't really picky about artwork or character (there's no new type of character lately btw).
Have you ever read a comic/manga just because one thing appealed to you?
Yes (gundam....and for me gundam W manga story suck, except it's 4koma).
Do you prefer black and white or colour pages?
Both. As long as i can read it.
MANGA: Do you prefer reading manga in its original layout?
Yes. page inversion always make trouble.
Anything else you would like to say?
I hope you discuss about this (Naruto -> Naruto Shippuden === DB-> DBZ) in your thesis 🙂

Black Lagoon.
What do you like about it? (e.g. plot, artwork, script, character)
Great plot with a fair amount of depth for the characters as well. It always keeps me interested even if it is about the darker side of society. The artwork is also fairly close to real life anatomy yet keeps up the manga feel quite successfully.

Plot and art are the most important things since if the story sucked, then there's no point in reading any further. The art also has to be on par to a certain level, it is a manga after all and artwork is what you see most of the time.

Plenty, I usually start reading because of the artwork (cover art). Sakura Taisen would be an example because I really liked Fujishima Kosuke's art style especially after seeing them from various Tales of games.
Do you prefer black and white or colour pages?
Black and white for the most part is good enough, as long as they do some colour pages for special occasions I can fill in the rest of the colours in my head.
MANGA: Do you prefer reading manga in its original layout?
Yes, it's drawn that way for a reason. If it was intended to be flipped then it would've been flipped, no need to change what isn't meant to be changed.
Anything else you would like to say?
I'll update the post when I find something else to say, though when is this thesis due anyways?

Escentially that it make me be amused, nor because its plot, hard to find original ones, but the execution itself, like some interesting powers, personalities, artwork, design of OC, etc; also if i find myself identified with its comedic sense, there are comedy i like and comedy i hate; lastly a nice artwork, not meaning to be extrarealistic types, but to fit the manga itself.

Yes, more than one time, it could have been because of the author, artist, genre, etc.
Do you prefer black and white or colour pages?
actually it depends on the series, some series just rock ass on b/w
MANGA: Do you prefer reading manga in its original layout?
Yes, i actually hate any modification to the original work, even something, that may seem minimal like this, besides, it just screw up some details, like reading order of the bubbles or things like left-handed chars, etc...
Anything else you would like to say?
I actually read comics and graphic novels, from other places beside "Japan" and "Korea", in example: USA, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Spain,
