Shoujo where the female lead is popular

but the male lead is not. The male lead in shoujo is usually a handsome/cool/popular/smart guy. Any where that's not the case? One where the female lead is popular and the male lead is unpopular/nerdy/plain? I know it's less likely in shoujo, but it just makes me wonder.
Josei would work as well. I prefer seinen/shounen and those kinds usually have the nerdy/unpopular/plain guy getting with the beautiful/smart/popular girl. I'd like to see it in shoujo/josei form.

3D Kanojo fits your request pretty well. Female lead is fairly popular and outgoing, while the male lead is unsociable otaku.

On my list. I was waiting for it to be finished. Any other suggestions?

Hibi Chouchou
Gisèle Alain (Seinen)
Chihaya Furu (Josei/shoujo. Male lead is also popular)
I'm surprised that I had such a hard time finding appropriate ones... what most fits your description is probably only the first one as well.

Wagatsuma-san wa Ore no Yome - Read it. Good ending.
My Hero! - Loved it, I wanted more chapters though.
Saruyama! - Haven't read it.
Itoshi no Karin - Read it, wish it wasn't as vague of an ending.
Got any more suggestions?

She better end up with Arata. That's all I'm saying.
