I cry at tragic endings. In books especially. When there's a good story, that ends with a main character dying it just makes me cry...
And movies... Every time I rewatch Gladiator I cry at the ending... Every freaking time... And I watched it like 15-20 times... (no, I'm not a movie obsessed person. Only Gladiator obsessed XD ).

Here and there, but not often. Usually at the smallest of things, although if I'm ever sad, i usually just get pissed off for some reason. 😕

The first time I read 'To Kill A Mockingbird', I cried. I don't know why. Normally I don't cry easily, but at the end of that one chapter where Jem gets the flower, I actually teared up. I remember shutting the book and trying to understand why it made me cry before I started reading again.

It takes a lot to make me cry; usually, when watching/reading tear-jerkers, I get angry at the stupidity of the characters. I'm also the sort of person that thinks whatever has happened is over and it's no use dwelling on it. Even when I get hurt (and I don't mean a "mommy I got a boo-boo" hurt; more like "I just ran into a wall again and have giant bruises all over it" ) I don't do more than tear-up. When I'm sad, I tend to get more depressed, quiet, sit-in-the-dark-and-watch-movies-until-I-fall-asleep sad.
...in fact, the last time I remember crying was the fourth time I watched Star Wars III. Yes, I know I'm a geek and yes I did cry the first three times as well.

Oh, my goodness, it's the part with Ani hurting Padme, then fighting Obi-Wan just spectacular? I kept falling out of my seat the first time I watched it because I kept inching closer.

But, uh, I normally don't cry. Although once I had 'Show Me Love' on repeat while reading something and I started crying. I think I overthought it.

Not quite the most elegant way of putting it, but yes. I think in some ways it takes courage to open up and let yourself be weak around someone.

Yeah but you need to find someone that you could cry in front of. I have no one.

You know, I'm really weird when it comes to crying.

I cry when I read manga, watch movies or read books. They don't even have to be overly tragic or overly sentimental, because I start bawling over the silliest things.

But IRL... Never. Or rather, barely. I don't cry out or complain if I get hurt, I didn't cry at all when my sister moved out, and I barely shed a tear when both of my grandmas died (I tell myself this is due to the fact that they were both sick, so I expected it). I didn't cry when my pets died, either. I felt sad in all those situations, really sad, but no tears came out. It's like, if I'm actually involved, I can't cry over things, while I don't mind crying for movies and stuff.

I am soooo weird.

I'm like that, too. Whenever I tear up a bit (not too often), it's usually when watching a movie or something.
Otherwise, it's almost impossible to cry, even if I feel sad.
The worst thing is that sometimes, I don't even feel sad, though I know I should, and then I feel guilty. Then I feel stupid for feeling guilty.

Have I cried?

Yes.

Do I cry on a regular basis, or in instances where one would normally cry?

No.

I cry whenever my loved ones die. I just had 1 that died today and I've been depressed about it all day.

Would I cry during a movie/TV show? very rare for that to happen. So far I haven't yet. And sometimes I cry when I'm scared depending on the situation.

There is a ASPCA commercial that makes me want to cry whenever it comes on...

With that Sarah McLaughlin song.
