I agree that most of the time it's just attraction what you get at first sight, but sometimes it's kind of hard to explain what exactly attracts you to a person. I mean, you can fall for a person that doesn't have any of the traits you find attractive in the opposite sex.

Well, love seems to have a more deep meaning, but I think that couples that get along well later might be able to tell the exact moment when they had fallen for their partner, and in the case it was the first time they met them they call that "love at first sight".

If you just look at someone, without knowing anything about them, only knowing their looks, then that's not love in my opinion, that's more like lust at first sight.

But who knows, I've been proven wrong before. So Maybe.

I think love is something that needs maturisation for it to be properly established, so I don't believe you can truly love someone at first sight.

Technicly if you are in love with someone you know that person b/c if you don't know him (his personality/sentiments/way of thinking & stuff) you can't really say you're truly in love right?
So if you meet someone for the first time and you think you have immediatly fallen in love with him/her/both; I think it's just your version (based on your own prejudice) of that person you somehow love. If all works out well you'll probably keep correcting that 'prejudiced' image of yours closer to reality untill you see that person for who he/she/both truly is.

Well anyhow I think what I'm trying to say is that love at first sight is just BS & that even if it isn't I'll still keep on thinking that way & that anyone who has experienced this 'love at first sight' for himself somehow, can just keep on disillusioning himself further with BS. 😛

I happen to agree with you on that. (well, except on the "falling in love with women's behinds" part. 😉 )

But then again, it's never happened to me, so maybe I'm wrong ^_^
