true, i dont like shounen only, but if they mix a little romance with it i find it a lot more interesting, that was also the case of flame of recca. Action only for so many chapters is overkill, but mix a little bit of romance and you will be surprised with the difference. Just my piece of mind though, feel free to disagree 😀

Personally, I would have to recommend anything by Machida Hiraku, Asaki Takayuki (if you love Okama), Amagappa Shoujogun, and Tsukiyoshi Hiroki.

SARGASSO by Tagro is real good too.

Ooh, and let's not forget my personal favorite Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru by Ishiguro Masakazu.
