Well, I will agree that the story drops in the middle. And the fact that it has shounen esque lack of realism. But the story is picking up right now. It is at the climax, and while there are some plot holes(can't think of any right now) there are less than many other stories. Saikano has a bunch of plot holes, and I think that it is one of the best seinen manga that I have read.

Then again, this is one of the few martial arts/action manga that I read.

I stopped reading it after this enormously long flashback ended and now I wait until it is finishes to read it again. But I remember what I disliked about the story: it seemed Oh Great developed the story chapter for chapter, he hadn't a big plot in mind or anyhting, just "oh that could be great let's use it and I will make something up so that it is more or less logical later, hm maybe with a flashback !"

Well maybe it has a good story and my memory is deceiving me but Air Gear has similar problems and flaws in the plot, so....

Well, I do read it for the story (partly), but the problem is, I don't really get the story. -_-;; I am rooting for Takayanagi though, the little brother of Mitsuomi. =D He's super strong~ >.< And I also like Maya very much (xP) and Bunshichi. He's one tough mofo. D:

I guess I read it for the story too. But that I actually understand the plot, that's another story. xD

i read it for the story i dont care if the art sucked or its great but i like the art 2 and i see it for the stroy 😃

Well, I've read the first twelve volumes, at least, and really... anyone who has trouble with the plot... I dunno. I don't mean to be cruel, but frankly, you're mentally disabled. Everything's pretty straight forward. Unless it goes absolutely NUTS in the next few books, I can't understand what the problem is.

As for the story, it's also fine. It's nothing to write home about, but it's certainly decent. I'd say it's a cut above things like Naruto, and its ilk. It's kinda silly and contrived, and unrealistic, sure. But this is manga. Realism is secondary to entertainment value.

And Ten Ten doesn't fail to entertain. Plenty of action, great artwork, enjoyable and often badass characters(with the notable exceptions of Aya and Soichiro, mind you...), and yeah, the chicks are blazing hot. But really, if you're "just reading it for the girls," then either get your head out of your ass, and realize that it's a good(not spectastic, but certainly good) series, or else go pick up some hentai.

Look, a bunch of people won't suddenly say that for the jokes. Yeah, sure if I read it a second time, I might understand it more. But if you're reading it the first time it's absolutely confusing, especially if you don't re-read every chapter like 20 times or something.

You'll see what we mean, because you're still not there. >_> And if you still don't get it after reading it completely, then there's something wrong with you. o.o;;

But seriously it gets confusing at a point. ;D And I agree that the story before wasn't difficult, at all. It's mostly that part that bothers us.

I will grant you that it gets confusing. But the point is that the story is at a climax, and I think the confusion is for a reason. It's going nuts right now because this is the culmination of an epic story(.....well it's epic in some ways).

Seriously, after the first flashback to Shin, the peices of the story started coming together. The thing with Souichiro's parents is starting to make sense.

I think it's more like a deal of cliff hangers and unanswered questions that will be sorted through at least somewhat over the next few chapters. If I'm not mistaken, it's on it's final leg, correct?

It sucks. I read it a little, but then I got tired of it.
The plot is just totally obscure, it smokes and smells
of fart. So basically, I cannot imagine any other reason
why anyone would read it but for boobs.

Agreed ^^ lol poor Ahoaho >.>; well....to make you feel better there is a story, but it's...well....not exactly slow, but kind of unlikeable lol XD it's all about personal taste i gues...

oh almost forgot to point out that i have no interest in boobs XD being a girl myself, so i have completely and utterly lost intrest in this manga loo~oong ago ^^
