proudmoore harasses early, but he's easy to crush. Earthshaker has impressive stuns, and if you utilize his ult, it's free ownage all early game to farm up late game items, but bkb immediately owns him. priestess...meh. slithereen guard is one of the fastest heroes in the game thanks to his move, and with 25% stun rate, and being a str hero, all he needs to do is wait for late game. Literally, i've seen entire games completely change simply because slardar farmed a bit. Lycan's ult is so broken, nothing like a 522ms chicken zooming about... as for faceless void, he's easy if you break his legs early game. A few nukes early game and he's dead. I'm surprised anti-mage isn't making the rankings, i mean with new basher on a melee agi hero? Blink? Magic resistance and mana burn?

Of course, in the end, everything depends on teammates, items, who you are against, and how good you are, but the heroes listed are the easier heroes to own with.

I've done in the past similar conversations with my friends and some ppl i met on bnet. The result more or less was the same.
We always started like :

Every hero has his good and bad points. Few heroes are broken...i mean you just can't handle em 1v1. Example is Atropos, even when playing 5v5, if u are the solo one against him in ANY level, you know that the BEST you can do is scare im a bit back. The worst is to give a frag. Add im necronomicon,orchid,shiva's, guinsoo in any combo, single one OR all of em and you'll see an ownage game.. His ulti works even while on avatar form - although not damaging, just disabling, but he can always sleep himself,if he needs to escape...
Now as for the broken LATE game heroes... -which depends ALWAYS from the opponent team- ALL heroes with natural bash OR with impressive attack speed - troll, slardar,Faceless Void- yurnero,magina and maybe gondar with basher are also really good.
Heroes with miss chance - Panda can be a never-to-be-hitted hero, with radiance,bfly (always a good item to have on u) and his skill. Everything you can make in an item EXCEPT bash it can be negated via BKB.
The only skill that can damage while on Avatar form is Techies simple mines..and the fact that already one said: "he can easily do triple kill on full HP opponents" is what makes im so special. Actually it's possible to make TPK (total party kill).

But the result in the end was, you can't judge who's the best cause it's a team game, and you may have all the "in theory" elite heroes and still lose the game. A pure nuke team -have seen it in local Tours- can own a game and CAMP at ur base before you reach lvl 14.
Teamwork sometimes exceeds personal talent and cooperation is also a vital point.
Comparing heroes like that is an idle chat for only one reason, to enjoy an argument most often with some other ppl that share the same feelings about the same game.
