And you're all manga fans...? 🤣
Manhwa : korean, you read it left to right, the sfx are in hangul. After reading few of them, it's quite easy to tell the other differences.

Both manga and manhwa words come from chinese 'man hua'.

Regulated? Yeah, kinda. In comparison to good manhwa, manga is just messy.
I don't know if my explanation will be any good... to me, there are few differences:
- lines are usually a bit thicker, especially those in the background
- a different construction of people's faces (not only they are more realistic, but also their proportions are different, if it's a really good manhwa, you can even recognise people's nationalities)
- better background
- sfx are a lot bigger ( i've masured one, it was about 2,5 cm, bigger than a human silhouette )
- people's emotions are drawn better
- differences in used symbolism (different country=different culture)
It's kinda hard for me to explain. You better ask your roommate.

They may be not perfect to illustrate this explanation, sorry.

All the other stuff here? No. There are manhua's here, too. Not as much as manga and manhwa but it's still there.

Angel Diary and Demon Diary are both manhwa, as well.
(I would underline the titles but I'm lazy. Also, Demon Diary is fun to read if anyone wants a recommendation.)
