Hmm, yeah, a favorite list for mangaka would be cool. I've made my own list on my computer to keep track of my favorites, so I don't consider it really necessary, but it would be nice to be able to list them here. An extra benefit would be that you could see which mangaka are the most popular, if you are a person who likes to look for manga to read in that way.

I think it's quite an interesting idea as well! I've got to lot of wonderful manga just becaused I searched for more of the mangaka, so, lists and, maybe, rankings, could help us finding new people.

Bumping this suggestion because it is something I would love to see. I've run into the problem of seeing a large amount mangaka I'd like to remember existed so I can come back at a later date and check what past works they've done. A list for this sort of thing would be absolutely wonderful.

I really would like a mangaka list, a simple one would be enough.
That way i could have a look at their series from time to time. 😃

I love this idea. I've been thinking about it for a super duper long time.. maybe a year or so. If there is a manga series that is clearly amazing and not a fluke, I normally want to follow the author.. and keep an eye our for any new things created by them! It would be great to have something like this or even something that has updates on what new things have been added about an author or artist we have grown to love. =) I don't always check aaalllll of my favourite authors. It would be a lot to remember and sift though.. Especially with my bad memory, i can only think of two names, but I know I LOVE more than just those two. =)

I really like this idea. I follow a lot of doujinshi artists and their series don't get added to the database unless someone scanlates it so having a wishlist for them would be really handy.

Ah, yes, this is exactly what I was looking for. I was trying to see if it was possible to 'bookmark' an author so as to have new releases highlighted immediately, even when you might not previously have had the chance to wishlist them. Or in hte case of DJs, the general title.

There is not.

This one would be super helpful, I have so many mangaka where I read all of their works that it would be nice to have; even if it were just a favorites type list.
