I think most of them would be able to land pretty safely. I can see luffy landing with his head getting stuck somewhere - the reaction on Ace, Garp, Sengoku and Boas face will be priceless.

I can't wait for the next chapter.

In regard to the number of pages it's because of such a massive intense battle there's a lot of double pages to be able to depict everything. We'll see a lot of double pages until this war is over.

The close-up of Admiral Akainu's face looks like it belogs to another manga. I always thought that Luffy would make his entrance falling from the sky. This is the only was to get any attention during a massive fight like this one.

yea but this chapter wasn't so bad. it has the most single pages so far ever since the double pages started.

once it shifts the focus to a certain pair(s) of ppl fighting, there should be more single pages 😃

Bout time really, just when i'm wondering when the hell will Luffy enter the scene, down he come from nowhere hahaha... with a bang at that 😎

Now, the crucial part begin, let's hope Oda sensei magic will work it's way again 😀

P.S. I hope Hancock plays a bit more part in the coming chapters 😛

Some times it just depends on where you read the double pages. Personally for the big fight scenes I love the double pages because there's so much more you can fit into it. (it's all in the mind that you feel it's shorter - there's soooo much detail in those double pages.) 🙂
