Well since bishonen means pretty boy and not just hot boy, I can safely say i've seen several in my life. Not personally but just here and there, at the mall, on the street, etc.

Sorry but bijou means jewel and a gem is just a stone that needs refinement to turn into a jewel is translated as une gemme. Sorry but since French is my native language I can't overlook this mistake cause it hurts me 🙂

I'm sure everyone has. My most memorable eye candy has to be this guy friend who's majoring in the piano from school. He has this utterly cute smile + is so shy you just keep wanting to tease him. 🤣

i translated bijou in german and then the german word into english, so it´s not the exact translation

gem also refers to precious stones (or jewel). In French you can say bijou (plural is bijoux though) in cases it refers to this (precious stones). It is less accurate than gemme or pierre précieuse, but often used in every day language. (I'm French and I use bijou instead of pierre précieuse like a lot of people)
Anyway, back to the subject, I've never met anyone like that but I'd like to. I'm curious.

Sadly nooooo! But if I ever find one I might end up stalking him. 🤨 The reason why bishounens are mostly seen in mangas is because they are "drawn" perfect and attractive. I think everyone's got a flaw no matter how beautiful the person "may" seem..either there's something off with their nose, eyebrows, forehead, etc.

I haven't met one in actual real life, but I think Gregory gorgeous from youtube is kinda of a bishie. He's prettier than most women I've met, its weird.
