Has the Manga well run dry?
For me it has but I think it has mostly to do with the fact that I am currently reading 100 series atm... and climbing TT_TT
Currently Reading: Gave up counting after 100 Manga...
Currently Watching: everything

As long as the otakus and mangakas keep mating and multiplying, manga will be as eternal as life on earth

nah
manga is like music
there will never be a limit to what can be made
however
if there is no audience, there will be no good new material
thats the theory anyway

This is why I like this site. Lots of people that have the same opinion as me and that type the words for me so that my lazy ass can just easily quote people. 🤣

Depends, see if you are reading a hell of alot you will find that you start finding similarities.
Your mind practically becomes a database. I find that there isn't many great mangas with original concepts because most of them have already been done 🤣
Stories eventually end up being similar but being told differently.
Just like movies...If you read at least 100 and something chapters a day your bound to get bored or see too many similarities. Shoujo's seem to have similar plot structures and shounens copy what other great shonens do.
I think moderation keeps things interesting.
If you want different plots i think reading demographics is the only way i.e shoujo, shonen, seinen, jossei ...blah,blah, blah. They differ their stories.

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

It's been over 8 years and I haven't gotten tired of manga yet.
Of course every medium blends together if you binge on it.

Sometimes you have to be thankful for necroposting to remind us that people have always complained about the same stuff.
Heh, in 2008 I didn't even know what manga is, and in 2013 I translate it.
