thats because most people don't know the history of the other countries if you research them you'd find each country has just as much, budhism being origin being in india, china with it's 4000 years of history, although Japan is one one of the most industrial countries in the world so what you used in your title is pretty accurate...

Japan is the top of Asia for their products, because you know what? ^^ In the world wars the western/US give them NOTHING, because the US were racist. In which Japan make technologies and other stuff in order to survive. if you visit Japan, you'll see they have nothing.... >_<
